Denver Fresh Mex — Restaurant in Denver

I was craving their 2$ special witch is a breakfast burrito with sausage, potatoes, egg, and spicy green chile. The protein changes every day and the special is only for the weekdays but this breakfast burrito is to die for. When I frantically barged through their front door worried I might of missed the BB window (FYI 8:00am to 11:00am make a permanent mental note), the employee greated me and took my order, 2 BB specials with 2 sides of guacamole and a large cherry coke, with no problems and even took care of the 25cent that I managed to not have. For the whole order it came to 10.25$ and I left with only having to wait a whole 30 sec, the food was hot, spicy, and delicious and I recommend this lil hidden gem but make sure to grab the special it's well worth the money and the customer service is always 100% top notch even when I didn't get the chance to tip, the employee lady was extremely nice and helpful. Affordable, tasty and generous comfort food served by two consistently friendly ladies. The tamale plate special on Fridays is excellent, worth a weekly visit. Also love their breakfast burritos for mornings when I'm feeling like an incompetent ghoul (Thursday Chorizo Gang). The only thing I'd change, and I say this lovingly- there's often something kinda unpleasant playing on their TV when I visit. Not a big deal, I'd just prefer to not listen to news about another shooting or a horror film score while waiting, that's all.

If you like Chubby's then that's exactly the kind of Mexican food you'll get here. I took off a start because the name "Fresh Mex" just does not at all convey the type of stoner-grade melty Mexican goodness you get there and makes me think of Chipotle-style Mexican food which is also delicious is not at all what kind of Mexican this is and would piss me off if I hadn't been going here prior to the name change lol.
