There is a manager by the name of Cassandra who works at this location working in the drive thru evening through the night shift. Worst customer service I've ever had!! Cassandra misunderstood a request with my order I placed at the speaker and informed me that it will be an extra 1.25 charge to upsize my fountain drinks for a slushy freeze drink they were promoting in which I was willing to pay for. She then proceeded to tell me that she could not take an order at the window and I had to proceed back through the drive-thru and to fix the order... So I did exactly that! Ms Cassandra refused to answer the speaker and just had me sitting there waiting. I took that time to review what I had ordered seeing my two combo meals come with a medium drink. After Cassandra refused to answer me at the speaker I then drove back up to the drive-thru window and requested a refund because I had been sitting there for 15 minutes and the food was now cold and the drinks were already melting. Cassandra then told me to come inside for a refund, which I did and Cassandra totally ignored me standing at the counter with the cold food and drinks waiting on her to give me my refund. I ask Cassandra to stop ignoring me and just give me a refund and I can go to a different location and place my order. She then told me she was not giving me a refund and that I needed to leave the store or she will call the police and have me removed!! At this point I'm very upset but still keeping calm dealing with the situation at hand with Cassandra. After axing for a refund several times and being ignored by Cassandra I started recording her behavior because at this moment I am now finding out that she is the manager running the store at the moment! Sitting there for another 20 minutes the police arrived and listened to Cassandra tell a complete lie and then told me that I have to leave the property with no refund and the cold food. Cassandra then informed me that she had been working at Taco Bell for 18 years and she can do what she wants! One out of the two officers in which that arrived to deal with the situation at hand must have previously dealt with situations like this at this location because the minute she walked in the store and got to the counter and seen the manager her first words were ,"what happened, you were doing so well", like the situation has already happened at this location more than once with several different customers. I filed a complaint with the corporate office in which service this branch location and they emailed me a $10 coupon which was less than the food I placed in my ordered!!! Taco Bell corporate office and Ms Cassandra totally dropped the ball on this one. I think Ms Cassandra has abused her authority in her position as a manager here!!! She's arguing with the customers after she makes a mistake taking their orders and then calling the police on customers refusing to give a refund or replacing the food when the order was mistaken. I've never seen a manager so cocky and knowing she's just ripping people off and all she has to do is call the police! Cassandra needs to be fired and after I ordered almost $17 worth of food and then the corporate office only send me a $10 coupon for my next order like I would come back to this location to be served!! Corporate office isn't even handling the situation accordingly!!! Anyone else dealing with this type of service from this woman you should report her immediately and do just as I did because all the police can tell you to do is leave when no crime was committed!! But she's clearly using it to rip customers off! Cassandra d 18 years at Taco Bell needs to be fired...
Read moreI've eaten here a few times. I think they do a decent job on the food, and the staff had never failed to be friendly on my visits. But here's the problem, and why I give them two stars: THEY ARE CLOSED AT 5:00 P.M. ON A SATURDAY. What sort of fast food restaurant closes at peak dinner hours on a weekend!?
Edit: I mentioned this exact problem to a co-worker, and she told me that she also experiences strange closures with this location. I believe the words that she used were, "That place is always closed." Apparently I am not the only one who experiences this problem.
Edit number 2: Today I visited this location and I am now giving them one star. In fact, if I could give them less than one star, I would. There was a small line at the drive-thru, and the first car pulled through. The car ahead of me then pulled up to order, and an entire song on the radio played without this person ever getting served. I pulled up to order, and the exact same thing happened to me. I looked at my watch before and after, and 4 minutes had elapsed without any service. I pulled around the building and no one was at the service window. They didn't look like there was anyone in the kitchen. I circled around to the front of the building and looked in through the clear glass doors. The lights were on, BUT IT WAS A GHOST TOWN IN THERE.
I implore you, dear reader, do not go to this Taco Bell. It will be a waste of your time, and your money will be much more appreciated at the other fine fast food restaurants on the same stretch of Colfax Ave. Other reviewers have given this Taco Bell terrible ratings, and now I too am giving them a singular star.
Shame on the management of this location. This PRIME location. RIGHT IN THE HEART OF DOWNTOWN, ON PERHAPS THE BUSIEST AND MOST WELL-KNOWN STREET WITHIN DENVER, AND IT HAS ABSOLUTELY THE LOUSIEST TRACK RECORD. Do yourself a favor and go down the street to the McDonald's, the Wendy's, or the Good Times. They deserve your patronage, this Taco...
Read moreI went in yesterday 03/13/20 as a Grubhub driver. Therefore, I was picking up food and leaving.
When I arrived, there were 10 people in the lobby, 6 of which that ordered the others have not. I got to the restaurant at 11:50, I did not leave until 12:35. Mind you, i was just picking up an order. An order that was marked ‘Ready for pickup’ but clearly it wasn’t. While waiting, I watched four people walk out after waiting 15 minutes because their order wasn’t placed. There were 3 high school boys who paid, and were there when I arrived and didn’t even have their food when I left. They said this was the second time this has happened to them, and that last time they were not refunded. The ‘cashier’ didn’t give anyone receipts, nor drink cups. And when orders finally DID come out, it was 238, 243, etc. but no one knew what their number was.
The staff could see us, as it’s an open kitchen, but the ‘cashier’ was primarily focused with the drive thru, one lady (did not speak English) was focused on making MASS amounts of the cinnamon twists. (Not necessary AT ALL.) there was another lady, obviously embarrassed but not doing anything to work any faster. She didn’t even melt the cheese on quesadillas, just placing items in bags for the drive thru. And another lad, extremely baked. Didn’t even care how slow and sloppy he was. I can’t even describe how SLOW these people were moving.
It was like watching a live horror movie. As a customer service manager, I would NEVER allow my staff to provide such awful service. I know it’s just Taco Bell, but none of these staff members showed any knowledge of exactly how to do their job. Cutting into MY work schedule, my deliveries, oh, and did I mention they didn’t even make the order correctly? Forgetting 3 items. It was such a hassle I had to call the diner and cancel. I’ve never had such a...
