Edit/ Update: we got takeout of Yassa Poutine and it had bones throughout and was very bland, fries were not as usual.
We first tried this place before they opened a second location and it was delicious. Things have taken a turn for the worse, taste and quality wise.
We set a reservation for 6 here. Informed them it’s our Son’s Birthday, etc. We had intended to take another French/ American Couple who hasn’t been yet. We arrived 15-20 mins late and the table outside that I had specifically reserved… had no cushions and a lone dust Devil. I had even called ahead the same day to ask about Heaters and was told they could put them out.
So we decide to take our friends elsewhere because they gave us a clear message that we are not welcome outside in 55F weather.
I called to make sure my card would not be charged for canceling the reservation they had not prepared for.
The girl on the phone must have been working with a double digit IQ. She blatantly lied to me, gaslit me and was overall, unprofessional and inflaming to work with.
She would not confirm that they would not charge my card. Instead she questioned me, called me “compromised” because I have an autoimmune condition and went on to try an claim the table was set and I set all within the last 15-20 mins of our reservation time.
I got upset and she finally found her brain enough to get the kindly Manager, Barclay.
He apologized. Told me that no, the table was not set and apologized for it. That’s real emotional intelligence.
I understand they have been hiring a lot of new people… Perhaps it’s time to find even better new hires and fire some of the more idiotic ones?
My Husband was upset, my kid was disappointed, they did all this, with knowledge that there was a Birthday.
I love the food here, but my entire family is so put off by this experience.
If you want to be upscale and charge upscale prices then I’d make sure the people working here match what is expected of a French Restaurant.
Hopefully the staff is improved so we can come back and enjoy this place again.

Read moreI have been in this restaurant several times for lunch and brunch in the past, with my friends, and family. I had enjoyed the experience every time except for today. The food was fantastic as usual, however I was utterly disappointed by the service. I understand the time we arrived at 11:15am, and they were very busy so didn’t welcome long staying guests. Food was served quickly so was the check. The waiter was not friendly, in fact he never offered to refill our coffee or the hot water for our tea. On previous visits the waiter always asks if we need anything else before closing the check? And never did they ask if we wanted a refill on our coffee. Today the waiter just left the check without asking if wanted anything else such as dessert? Maybe they are under-staffed, but we could sense he was hinting for us to to pay ASAP, as he passed our table many times while glancing at us. So we paid. Two separate credit cards. The bill was taken care of immediately. Finally the hostess came over and we were asked to leave, because we overstayed their 90 minute limit. All the while there were plenty of open tables around us! I would appreciate if the policy was posted somewhere or that we could have been informed when the reservation was made. So we left immediately only to go to a coffee shop 2 doors down. After all I was never offered a refill and I wanted more coffee! Then both of us realized we left our credit cards in the bill folders. So we returned to the restaurant. This was literally 3 minutes after we left. We are two Japanese women and there were no other asian guests in the restaurant. They asked however for us to present our ID! I understand it is policy. But it was a few minutes since we left and they no doubt remembered us because they wanted to get rid of us so badly. I felt insulted and the whole experience was unpleasant. I don’t think we will ever go back. Which is too bad because we have been frequent...
Read moreSo I waited 3 weeks before writing this review so I wouldn’t say anything rude or unnecessary. My wife’s corporate office is in Denver and she travels there from our home in Las Vegas staying at the hotel across the street monthly. I decided to make the trip with her this time because I’d never been to Denver. On the afternoon of 7/25/25 after spending a nice day in downtown Denver we came back to the hotel, parked and walked over for drinks at the bar. It was 5pm so we just missed happy hour but no problem we ordered drinks and I ordered the burger. A group of women were sitting to my right again no problem they weren’t bothering us…until they did. 2 more ladies showed up and they started yelling “OMG WE HAVEN’T SEEN HER SINCE HIGH SCHOOL” again not bothering us…until they did. In the middle of my meal MID-BITE they asked me to move down to make room for the “OMG WE HAVEN’T SEEN HER SINCE HIGH SCHOOL” friend. MIND YOU there were empty chairs at the end of the bar they could’ve have pulled down to make room but instead they interrupted my meal and asked me to move down which I did reluctantly. Now you would think that someone would’ve just sat in my seat but NOOOOOO they literally pulled the seat out from the bar and created a circle! AGAIN THERE WERE EMPTY SEATS AT THE BAR THEY COULD’VE DONE THE SAME THING WITH! At this point I’m pissed but rather than make a scene I slid the rest of my meal to the top of the bar and asked the bartender to close out. HE WATCHED THIS ENTIRE PROCESS TAKE PLACE AND SAID NOTHING! It also doesn't sit well with me that they were a group of White Women and my wife and I are Black. At that moment I knew I’d never be returning to Denver free trip or not. Lastly, if you’re going to charge $24 for a cheeseburger maybe rely less on French techniques and more on SALT...
