Like Tea — Restaurant in Denver

I really, really wanna like this place. I live right next to here so naturally, having a boba place I can walk to in under a minute sounds great.

Here’s the problem I keep having, they make the drink the brown cane series by default, and I’ve tried to carefully express “naked” and still received the brown cane series. While trying to introduce a friend to boba this happened and really turned them off to the whole idea as it’s way too sweet.

The first couple times I went here this didn’t happen, so I’m not sure why they suddenly sugar up all the drinks, they should really clarify they have the order right given there is the same drink in about 5+ versions, which they consider brown cane default.

stopped in on a random pursuit of soft food a few days after having my wisdom teeth removed and was happily surprised with how amazing this decision ended up being. i ordered a large jasmin milk tea boba with a créme brûlée cap and a strawberry pudding. BOTH WERE EXCELLENT. the jasmin milk tea was delicious with the perfect amount of ice. the cap added a burst of toffee flavor to the drink that paired wonderfully. the strawberry pudding was fresh and ready to go at check out. my drink was prepared quickly as i waited at a clean table inside the interior seating area enjoying my pudding with a miniature spoon shaped like a shovel. v kawaii, v good I...

Drinks are fine, it's annoying putting in an online order, getting a text that it's ready, then going to pick up and they haven't even started it. Happened like 3 times now and every time I go in I am the ONLY customer they are serving. Not sure if they have issues with people not picking up their online orders but it sucks having to spend (waste) time in their lobby on my break because it might be inconvenient for THEM to make my drink. Boo.

Edit: owner responded saying "sometimes we are sold out of boba sorry about wait time" my issue is my drink being marked as ready to pick up when it is not,...
