3 friends and I went to Little Ollies for a 22nd birthday dinner 5/19. We chose it because the sushi is always great. To finish the night we order 1 round of shots (we purposefully did not go crazy with drinking or anything because we all had commitments the next day since it was a Wednesday), and our waitress recommended Espolon Repcsado. We weren't familiar with it but she assured us it would be "smooth" and taste good. We were genuinely shocked at how easy it was to drink even made comments on how it "tasted like water." But we figured it was just top shelf and we just hadn't had it before. We were surprised the bill was not too outrageous (again, we assumed it was top shelf or something because it was so easy to drink). It ended up being $11 a shot. Fast forward a week later and we decided to buy the exact same bottle of tequila for a party and it did not taste the same at ALL. Meaning, the bartender genuinely served us WATER.
I know some people may blame us for not knowing better but this has never happened to any of us before and we were just so mad and disgusted employees would do that. (we even had tipped the waitress 25% for being so nice about the birthday!!)
So disappointed and infuriated. Just because we are "young" we don't deserve respect as paying customers?? Won't be back, and won't recommend it to any one else. There are plenty of other places...
Read moreHonestly been going here for 20 years of my life and with recent management changes the food and service dropped off a cliff completely. I knew the old manager Cindy she watched me grow up and always served us well. Recently the food portions have dropped completely and when we brought it up the manager was a jerk about it and laughed. We’ve stopped eating in at all and just take the food to go the servers are always very apologetic and nice if anything happens but the management never cares and avoids the staff when they try to bring up issues with any orders. I’ve had staff scared to confront him with any little issues “idk how to bring this up to him” This recent visit one of our sea bass orders was completely uncooked and our sweet and sour chicken had not exaggerating 6 half an inch sized pieces of chicken… I’m not sure who is satisfied with 6 small pieces of chicken for $43 but it’s not me… after 20+ years of dining in at this location I think we’re finally over it. Once again the staff and servers are always great as I’m writing this review the front desk is apologizing profusely and the manager refusing to even speak to us ha what a joke dude… this staff deserves better they shouldn’t be afraid to speak to a manager and loyal customers spending GOOD money definitely deserve...
Read moreIf you have food allergies, don’t go here. I was excited when I saw their gluten free menu but also have a soy allergy. I called ahead and asked if they could accommodate the soy allergy and was told yes. I had been a few times always ordering the same thing. We go here quite a bit for work lunches. After not feeling great after a couple visits I emailed twice and left a voicemail for management/ownership because when I called to ask how they make the specific dish I order without soy, I was told they use tamari. Tamari is made from soy. I have never received a response. Their staff are giving customers incorrect information about something that is a very big deal and not responding to inquiries. This shows they don’t care or don’t want to deal with the situation. It’s unfortunate that more and more have food allergies which makes eating in general more difficult and when you would like to enjoy a meal out, can’t trust that the information you are being told is true. I am taking a risk eating out but when you offer gluten free and tell me you can accommodate my other allergy, I am trusting you will do just that. Very disappointing and unfortunate they won’t see my business anymore nor...
