Upon arrival we were seated immediately however once seated we waited for about 25min for our server Jimmie. When he arrived to our table there was no greeting or even mention of his name he sat our water on the table which no one asked what we wanted to drink the worse part is when Jimmie sat our drinks down while facing another Guest's table and then walked off and seemed to be having the best conversation with any of his tables whom were not of color cleaning and tending to all their needs after realising about 15mins have passed and still no Jimmie I turned around to see him serving another table that just arrived but thinking he's just getting their drinks still questioning why we weren't asked what we would like to drink. So I went to the hostess whhom was very nice and asked to be moved we were moved to a different section by the bar with another waiter who seemed anxious to help requesting what we wanted to drink, brought us a menu, and even came back to take our orders so we thought perhaps maybe it was just Jimmie NOPE said to say he did only one step above Jimmie which was he brought us a drink. Now we've been seated for about 45min no food so we still decided to wait awhile until we seen two tables one which was a family of 5 who order sandwhiches and another larger party who aslo ordered sandwhiches and a salad which was the same order we put in with Nathan who was our second waiter. I told my company maybe it was the wings causing the delay but I've eaten out enough to know it doesnt take an hr to make wings needless to say we had to stop Nathan and asked what happened to our food all he kept saying was he was sorry but it still didn't explain why were the ONLY ones not eating and big parties that came in after us have left and we still havent been served an hr later sobwe asked for mgmg the manager made it over about 15min after the request and we thought a young whom walked by was mgmt so we flagged her down and explained our concern she advised she was the manager of the banquet hall and apologized for the service we received and she offered to pay for our meals and provided us with Vouchers and even sat and had a convo about places and sights we could see which made my BIRTHDAY from an awful experience to something like a bitter sweet experience. She had our food out hot and ready within minutes served by her personally and she even gave us dessert and voucher for breakfast the next day. Normally I would leave after deceiving this kind of service but I never experienced anything like this so I had to get the restaurant mgmt involved who seemed to careless about my concern but Thanks to the banquet hall mgmt for taking care of us I still left the restaurant once I received my meal and dessert becasue of the unfairness the received and we were also paying customers yes there were other African-Americans but each had a Caucasian or another ethnicity at their table and seemed to be served with no issue but us and another table full of African-Americans were not served and the reason they were asked what kind of drink is beacuse I think that was Nathan's 1st question on his training test and it is stuck in his head after greeting ask customer for drinks and return when ready O I didn't mention we ordered drinks from the bar and the bartender had them ready prompt but Nathan left them sitting for about 10mins waiting to be picked up. Which made me wonder about the kitchen arrangements was my food ready and Nathan is just not brining it to us and serving everyone else becasue the cook seems to b pretty fast and good. Before I go I want to thank Torrie for her GREAT service she'sthe MVP my feelings haven't changed I did not go to breakfast because of the bad service I received the day before becasue I'm sure Torrie was enjoying her wknd and to deal with anyone would put us back at the same experience we didnt even wanna go get watee out...
Read moreHad a convention at the hotel this weekend and came here everyday since it's the only place in the hotel. Each time we we came in was a HORRIBLE experience. The service is by far the worst I've ever experienced at any restaurant. The first night took forever to get food, drinks and the check. The second night we waited an hour before receiving our drinks and the server never asked if we wanted food( we did want food, but nope the question of what we wanted to eat never came) I had to track someone down to ask about our drinks after waiting and hour. They ended up not charging us for the drinks, which was nice, but stil this should not happen at restaurants. Then we went again the 3rd day there and tried to give it another shot because it was convenient, but it was the same thing almost. We did get our drinks this time , but we were never asked if we wanted to order food or even if we wanted another drink when we sat with empty glasses. We ended up saying screw it. We took our buisness elsewhere.They were busy the first and second night, but the last day there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. I don't know what is going on, but there seriously needs new management or training or something. I will say that the one time we did get our food the food was good, but the lack of service was enough for me to give a 1 star review. I honestly wouldn't even give it 1 star because the service was horrible all 3 times we were there this weekend. Management you must fix this or you will have a lot of unhappy...
Read moreI visited this alehouse at random on 6/11/20 because I didn't feel like cooking at home that evening. I'll have to say, it was the best decision I could have made that day! After seating myself at a table, a polite and very professional waitress approached me and took my order. It'd taken much longer than I'd expected to finally get my drink, but the waitress apologized and presented me with one of the most magnificent cocktails I'd ever tasted (I ordered the IPA Collins, and I highly recommend it). There was a couple of issues with my food order thereafter, but the patient, polite waitress went out of her way to make sure that my order was to my satisfaction.
The food, drink and ambience was great, but I was mostly impressed by the top notch customer service that I'd received from my waitress, Yeshi. I wish I could give this review 7 stars for the service alone ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!! I have visited restaurants from San Diego to Italy in my lifetime, but I've never experienced any service that comes close to the service that I'd received from Ms. Yeshi!
