Eastside

Gin, lime, simple, mint, & cucumber. The eastside was created at libations in new york city by bartender george delgado in 2004. The recipe gained a lot of attention after it was taken to milk & honey (also in new york), where it was altered slightly and developed into the straight-up version that this recipe represents.

Old Fashioned

Bourbon or rye whiskey, sugar, & angostura bitters. Some say that the drink actually originated in louisville, kentucky in 1880 at a private social club called the pendennis club. The recipe is linked to bartender and bourbon distiller, james e. Pepper.

Moscow Mule

Vodka, lime, ginger, simple, & peychaud's bitters. The moscow mule was born in los angeles during the 1940s and took root as part of a marketing campaign by a fledgling vodka company. Yet despite these modest beginnings, the drink has survived, even flourished with even the most trendsetting bartenders embracing the dead simple formula.

Sazerac

Rye whiskey, peychaud's bitters, sugar, & absinthe rinse. The creation of the sazerac has been credited to antoine amédée peychaud, a creole apothecary who emigrated to new orleans from the west indies and set up shop in the french quarter in the early 19th century. He was known to dispense a proprietary mix of aromatic bitters from an old family recipe.

Blackberry Bramble

Light rum, blackberries, simple, & lime. The bramble was created in london, in 1984, by dick bradsell. At the time, bradsell worked at a bar in soho called fred's club, and he wanted to create a british cocktail. Memories of going blackberrying in his childhood on the isle of wight provided the inspiration for the bramble.
