Let me start by saying I waited a few days to post a review for Snooze because I was feeling a bit conflicted. The food here is absolutely scintillating with an uncompromising attention to detail. The wait staff is always helpful and will go out of their way to make your day. However, I have had a few bad experiences in a row that I can’t ignore. We had a take away order forgotten about, so the meal was left out until cold before we went in to inquire as to what was happening. The manager felt bad so he gave us a 25$ off an online order code. I was excited as this is one of my favorite brekkie spots, and I didn’t want one bad time to color my palate too much. Fast forward to this past Sunday. We made a reservation for 10:30 and rolled up. We were hesitant to order take away again given the last instance, so we went in to inquire if we could just use the code towards our dine in. The waiter told us that would be fine, so we sat down and had a terrific meal. I highly recommend the Churro Stout with a cold brew as the sweet and bitter combo made my morning. We got two lovely entrees and as we were set to pay up, the manager quickly slid to the table. She informed us that she wouldn’t put the code towards our meal and left us a coupon for 1 free pancake and a full price meal. She wheeled away as quickly as she had come because I imagine she didn’t want to deal with the situation on a busy morning which I totally understand. We still tipped our waiter as he was amazing and was as apologetic as he could be. I think my issue here is just some managerial points. I worked in a rather nice restaurant for a few years, so I guess I just got accustomed to my managers going out of their way to soothe any grievance no matter the size. When she left the table in a rush, I wasn’t able to explain the only reason we ordered as much as we did was because our server gave us a green light to use our code. The only reason we had the code was because we had a bad experience. Being in a tough spot for work, my fiance and I only go out to eat once a week. Please don’t mistake my polite tone for anything besides respect for the people that work at this place and do an amazing job. However, when the manager set a free pancake coupon on a nearly 60$ check, I lost my mind. I get times are tough in a pandemic, but when you tell someone that you will honor a redeemable code, it is no longer my problem how you figure that out. I thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere, service, and food so much at this restaurant, but I think we will be going to a few other places before we come back...

I have visited countless restaurants, diners, and eatery’s around the globe for over a decade and by far I have never had such an incredible breakfast experience. The restaurant was packed when I arrived. However, I was seated within less than three minutes, it was I in a group of six others. We sat down on the very comfortable booths, and we were amazed at the wide variety that was offered in the menu.
I will admit sometimes I’m extremely harsh with my reviews, but if I’m going to be completely honest there is not a SINGLE negative thing I have to say. They excelled in every single thing I look for.
Atmosphere: A warm colored comfortable home like build. Music is soft and fitting for the environment.
Service: This is one of the top two most mindblowing things to me. Even though the restaurant was significantly full, service was top notch, attentive, kind, all while being very quick. We were served by a waiter called Grace, she was incredible, being very thorough with our table even though we had a very large group. 10/10
Food: Here’s my favorite part, and the most important. There’s not much I can say, but when it comes to food, not only was the wait for the food minimal, but despite the large amount of orders for our table they all arrived promptly and together. Aside from the speed the talent that the cooks in the back have for preparing the various beverages and meals is mindblowing. There is nothing more I can say but no matter what you order (our group has an immensely diverse meal) every one of us had wild reactions to the taste of what they ordered. Salty, sweet, tart, bread-based, egg-based, all forms of protein, they were all cooked and prepared PERFECTLY.
Money: The quality of food and quantity, not to mention the wonderful environment, and lovely servers, every penny you spend will be well worth it.
My only sadness is that I fear this has ruined common breakfast areas for me because I feel they don’t even compare.
To the owners: Our groups server Grace was the absolute best, always speaking kindly and even offered recommendations. I was aware of other servers and they all seemed to have a wide grin and genuine joy with their work. Great work managing a clean restaurant, hiring attentive and kind employees, skilled kitchen staff, and all while making the...
Read moreI occasionally like to review a restaurant and I decided to do so here at Snooze today with a friend. I've been having a hankering for eggs Benedict and Google's second search result rates Snooze as one of the best places for, so we decided to stop by.
Once he and I found the host stand, we were seated promptly and greeted by a server within 2 minutes. Drink orders showed up within 5 minutes of being placed, however the glass ware appeared to be quite smudged unfortunately. The speed in which the kitchen is able to execute dishes is incredible. For the time it took from the server leaving the table with our order to the time the food was served was only 10 minutes and 8 seconds. This exceeded both of our expectations.
We ordered Eggs benedict III, Biscuits and gravy, espresso, and an iced honey oat milk latte. The espresso is perfect for a dark roast lover, however I found with a bit of cream and sugar, the flavor became more balanced. The iced latte we would highly recommend for its smoothness and taste and worth ordering again.
The eggs Benedict wasn't overbearing and highlighted the effect of simplicity. The eggs are the defining feature of a Benedict and I must say, I have never been to an establishment that was able to execute egg cookery as flawlessly and precisely as Snooze. The hash browns were a wonderful combination of a soft inside with a crispy exterior and held together surprisingly well. My friend is from the south and decided upon the biscuits and gravy with over easy eggs. He found the gravy to be the star of the dish with large pieces of well seasoned sausage. The biscuits were mentioned at being slightly underdone, but still complemented the dish very well. The over easy eggs were again found to be well executed. Out of the numerous places he has been, Snooze makes it near the top of his list for undeniable quality for this staple.
Our server (forgive me, I do not recall his name), was expeditious, hassle free, fully engaged, and was able to clear the table without my friend or I having to break conversation. We were not asked any questions or interrupted even once. Rarely do I experience service of such high quality.
Snooze Eatery is one of the best breakfast places with excellent food, exceptional service, and swiftness of the kitchen. We will be sure to come back, and thank you for a...
