I hate to be the first non-5 star review, and I really wanted to like this place. The two people working were very friendly, and it seemed like a nice spot. I got an al pastor burrito and chips and salsa. There is a hidden fee if you pay by card, which I get for small purchases, but a burrito is $13, and I just don't like surprise fees. The burrito/meat tasted a bit off. It is also picture with a side of rice and beans on the menu, but just comes by itself (smothered and with rice and beans inside to be fair...just not what is pictured). Everything was very salty. For chips and salsa ($4), you get two small cups of salsa. Both food-wise and value-wide, I was disappointed. Read moreThis place went in after Tacos de Azteca closed. The menu & prices remain very similar. I am always worried when a place changes owners/names that the food will decline. Much to my delight, the food has actually improved. Today I ordered chilaquiles rojo with added carne asada. The chips were perfect, a little soft, a little crunchy. The sauce was flavorful and spicy! There were two fried eggs on top, and some grilled onions. They were hands down the best chilaquiles I've had. The beans & rice were clearly homemade & very good. If I had to nitpick, the horchata was a little too sweet, without any taste of spices. I will keep coming back...
Read morei loved everything about this place and everything about it. i came in with my lil bro and ordered two tortas de pastor with added pineapple and asada fries, when we started waiting for the food to be ready we started looking around the place and took notice of how close this felt to being back in mexico. the food was really good and i didnt expect to get that much food for only 35 bucks which only adds to the pros of this place. overall its definitely not a spot to miss out on...
