Tony Tenderonis — Restaurant in Denver

We came in after a Rockies game, the wait staff was inattentive and more concerned with making out with other customers after putting limes in their mouths. I am not quite sure how to explain this as I have not seen this behavior at any other bar/food joint before.

I requested that water come out with our food. They told me they didn't do that. I asked again nicely, but no water ever made it to our table.

After ordering our food and drinks and paying our tab, our bartender was furious that I didn't leave a tip and took our food away before asking if we would like a box. She also made a point to take photos of us as we left. She made it very clear that she was upset by the lack of a tip. I requested a copy of my receipt which the bartender promptly refused.

Not once did anyone check on us to see if we needed more food or drinks.

My understanding is that a tip is just that, something that is given for a service that at least meets or exceeds expectations… this place...

Appreciative that they served us food with closing an hour away and the kitchen closing in less than 10min. I believe the bartenders name is jose not because he told us but because his friends would call him out! He was too worried about taking care of his friends and gossip! We got our food and never followed up then we see him outside with his friends. That’s all fine but it’s my first time and not getting offered if I need another drink and waiting forever for a To go box really tainted my experience. On the positive note the tenders are great and the fries were so crispy! One thing that did weird me out was 2 of the bartenders friends went behind the bar and started doing their hair and pulled out a brush while taking to the bartender. Definitely an odd ...

I was excited to try this place after seeing it on a Food TikTok, looked really good. I wasn't aware that you had to go to the bar to place your order, it's not a normal restaurant where they take your order, just a heads up. Service was Stull really nice though. The Basketball Game is extremely loud and really detensifies the mood and feel of the place. Very distracting in an annoying way. The food was also not as good as I thought it was going to be, we got the Burger, it wasn't bad, but idk it had a differentt taste. I've had better for less. I didn't try their tendies, so next time I visit, I'll give it a shot, they are a Tender Place anyway so it makes sense that the Burger wasn't the best, I'm sure their Tendies...
