This place is delicious, hands down the best chicken in Northfield right now, but I have yet to check out all the chicken spots in Colorado. Sides are okay. I don't eat pork, and the greens have bacon in them. This restaurant fails to train their employees to tell the people that don't eat pork , that the white beans are cooked in Bacon grease. While the food is amazingly seasoned and satisfying, I would NEVER recommend working for this particular store. The management is horrible. I was belittled, tyrannize, ridiculed, criticized, watched, and followed. I was treated like I was dumb after numerous occasions, and this place has only been open for 2 weeks. I'm 43yrs old. I was literally pulled to the side and shown how to ring out a rag and how to wipe down a table. Instead of Mo just telling me to sanitize the rag in "dirty water in a bucket mind you", after every table. Common since. That is the way to disinfect tables in most restaurants, but to not stick to how you trained a person to grab the remaining trays, then go back to whip down the table afterward is beyond me. I never got a break, I never asked for a few minutes to walk away to eat. I don't smoke. 1 time stepping to the side to answer my phone after ALL tasks ,all orders were gone, no customers. I was pulled into the office and told not to get on my phone. A few times checking my emails during slow times, Lead to being told I was constantly on my phone, I was told if customers seen that they would not like it, I not once got on or touched my phone in front of a customer or during busy times. But every time I turned the corner, employees were on their phones right next to the managers, and in front of the customers, and nothing was said. Numerous times, I was told not to do something, then the next person would do the same exact thing, and nothing was said. A 19 year old works the bar..??? These managers are bullies. All big on hiring people with hospitality, and these guys have none. They specifically said we want our employees to like their job, to feel welcome and happy and excited to work, but made use feel low, uncomfortable, and ready to walk out. Burger King was more comfortable to work at. I definitely had nothing but patience. But it's wasn't worth the stress. A few employees never came back after a day or a week, and a few are planning on leaving soon....

I drove for about 7 hours from the time I woke up trying to make my delivery appointment on time. Only to get there and find that my delivery appointment had been rescheduled for the next day. So now I have to look for a place to park my truck. But it seems that every available parking space at every truck stop in the denver, aurora area is full. As I was driving around looking for a spot to park for the night. I saw an area near the bass pro shop with other trucks parked there. So I went to look and found a parking spot.
Going on 15 hours since my last meal I went in search of something to eat. I was hungry and I was angry. And that's when I stumbled upon waldo's chicken and beer.
As I walked around the building looking for the front door I saw pictures of a 3 piece chicken tenders meal on the window. I decided that's what i'm gonna order. I've never been to a waldo's chicken and beer before, so this is my first time.
I seated myself in the bar area and what's immediately greeted by the waiter. He handed me a menu and told me about there. 2 for 1 beer specials. I'm driving a truck, so I really shouldn't have a beer, but I was immediately put in a better mood just hearing about it.
I opted for iced tea and the three piece chicken tenders basket. It came with coleslaw and fries. And my choice of dipping sauce. I believe I chose the waldo's house sauce.
The food didn't take very long to arrive at the table. Although it didn't look quite as good as it did in the photo on the wall, everything tasted excellent. I really like coleslaw, but most people don't know how to prepare it very well. Waldos did an excellent job with the chicken, the fries and the coleslaw. I even thought the dipping sauce and Texas toast tasted good.
I left waldo's in a much better mood than I was in when I walked in through the doors. Thanks to the food and the service. Five stars...
Read moreI visited this place a few weeks ago and ordered chicken wings but the sauce I ordered was entirely too sweet and want it more spicy... Which the young lady in the front said it would be more spicy and sweet which it was not. But I want to like this place, So I visited again last night. I Ordered the 12 piece again and this time I got no seasoning. I asked for the Buffalo wing plus the habanero sauce don't remember the full names of them, I received None... So no seasoning, no sauce. I want to love this place, Please you guys please pay attention. The macaroni and cheese was good and the tea was good. I never remember to take pictures, Sorry about that. But they were just fried chicken wings. Nice size but they were truly naked. Its as if I said, don't put any seasoning nor sauce. I'm looking at recent pictures where there's sauced wings... So I know they still sauce the chicken as requested. I don't even mind waiting a while for food which you will have to here, if the food comes out hot. The chicken was not hot at all nor were the over salted fries. I had a few when I got in the car... So only imagine when I got home...you must take that in consideration when you order out, that the food's not going to be piping hot when you take it home, but to the car at least lukewarm, right? Again, I want to like this place, It's in my neighborhood. I'm over here all the time in the Northfield area, and I understand it's...
