okay so first off, I would have done this on the wendys customer satisfaction survey if the people working managed to give me my receipt even after i asked. i went here today through the drive thru and ordered my food no issue. when we pulled up to the window the kid took the card, did not say a total did not confirm the order, ran the card and handed us two drinks. let me say right off that i believe he was new as he was being supervised closely by a manager. he handed us the drinks and said have a nice day. we told him these aren't the drinks and the manager asked us our order. we told him. he then asked for the card back. personally i worked at wendys so i knew that they had mistakenly charged us and were refunding the charge. the person paying had no clue what was going on so he assumed they were manually putting the card in because it wasn't working. i didn't say anything because i thought the manager would say something and that it would be cancelled immediately. the manager said nothing. no one even said that they had charged us for someone else's order and didn't inform us they had to refund. so of course there was no explanation or apology. we got home and realized the charge was still there. i actually had to call. i tried to explain, the manager cut me off like 3 times because he couldn't understand me and then finally said oh did you have a raspberry coke? i said yes. and he said oh yeah i had to refund that other charge it'll take a few days. ?????? he said it so casually like it wasn't a problem much less news to us. i said, uhm no one told us that in the drive through, STILL no apology he actually said "yeah that was the operators mistake." i don't blame the employee. the manager didn't fix it, he didn't even inform us even though he watched the...
Read moreFood is usually on point other then when my wife orders chilli sometimes it's almost filled up and sometimes it's an inch an half down even tried to order two of the same and both were filled differently. I love being able to use the app and earn rewards and get offers for discounts but when you have them go to scan the QR code the last women in the drive through decided she needed to touch my phone not just once but three times because her nails were to long to allow her finger to two the screen even though the gentleman the day prior was able to scan the smaller QR code with no problems, and given the state of covid and all I think asking me to enlarge it if she felt it was necessary would have been much more appropriate. Also when you ask for a large water they can't decide whether to give you a small medium or large cup. First time we got a small when asking for a large second was a medium and when I said I requested a large water I was informed that the medium was there large even after starting we would pay for larger cup they still have us the medium and the large so now we have four waters when we only wanted the two large. Not sure if this is a training issue or attitude issue because it had happened both times. Sorry for the long review but nobody should give me an attitude when I ask for something and you choose to give me something different even if I'm willing to pay for it, and none should touch my phone from the drive...
Read moreThis isn’t the first time I had my order wrong, hey it’s the local place and close to home why not give them other opportunities to get things right, but it seems that every time my family and I choose wendys they screw something up, so tonight was that time that it got screwed up, Pulled up to the speaker and ordered a spicy chicken Cesar salad and the guy taking orders said they had it but it had Parmesan cheese which it’s ok, then an Asiago chicken sandwich meal, and a large chili! Usually I’m asked if I want cheese and onions but nothing from this guy. Pulled up to the window I get a total but no receipt. Get my drink no straw, ok figured it’ll be in the bag, get home thinking my order it’s good since they took 10-15 minutes to hand me my food, well got home my wife opened her salad the chicken is grilled not spicy like I ordered, no straw for me, my fries old and no cheese or onions in my chili!!
