initial lady barista was nice, i asked if she had single origin and she said no and then even offered suggestions on the pastry, i ended up ordering a strawberry croissant. i tipped and sat close to the bar so they wouldn’t have to walk outside to deliver my stuff to my table.

The gentleman pulling shots brought it to my table. here’s where im waiting for my strawberry croissant and am just sitting patiently no big deal. they had guests. I’m then approached by a male who looks like he doesn’t care about his appearance (think of wet dog), and asks if im waiting for something. i say yes my pastry and the girl who attended was about to say something when dog boy said “oh all you have to do is ask” whereas that’s not what i have to do. i paid for it and expect to receive it. when he asks to go or on a plate i say plate and he placed it on the counter a foot away from him instead of placing it on my table of equal distance. very petty. not sure what his deal was. i was really bummed after that so i just didn’t finish my order. mega bummed as we were recommended this place by the people at huck.

This place is my go to! I stop in here almost every morning on my way to work and sometimes on Saturday when I want to hang out on the rooftop patio. Nestled in a cool rino version of a small strip mall called the backyard, Blue Sparrow coffee is an absolute delight! The shop it self is small but that only encourages you to utilize their courtyard and rooftop patio (filled with tables and chairs rocking chairs and benches) the coffee is top notch and honestly the customer service and the skill of the baristas is second to none. My go to drinks are their Nitro Cold Brew(the offer one with CBD) an Almond Milk Cortado, or their Chai Latte with oat milk, this👏🏻Chai👏🏻is👏🏻amazing a strong mix with a defined spice it’s my go to on a cold day(they also make it iced🧊). Food wise they have a selection of pastries and in the spring summer fall months they have sandwiches. If you are in RiNo looking at the street art and murals start off at Blue Sparrow grab a drink and something to snack on and enjoy! one more thing, don’t forget to grab a bag of beans from their ever rotating line up honestly it changes all the time and I love...
