Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Deptford Township

Chick-fil-A has better quality food than most other fast food places. Anyone who eats fast food knows there are tiers. I would say the next tier up would be something like Five Guys or Chipotle. Chick-fil-A is still within the main other groups and probably closest to Wendy's in terms of quality. however there are some things at Chick-fil-A that other places do not have. First the play place is really great for toddlers. Most of the play places at Burger King and McDonald's are for older kids because it is too high up for toddlers to climb. At Chic Fila A play places gear 2 3 and under. Of course sometimes there are some older kids but we have never had a problem with everyone getting along and having fun. For the food, this is one of the only fast food places where you can get a bowl of soup and my kids love that. Of course it is not as healthy as like a Panera soup but hey it's not bad. In the fruits in the fruit cup option for the kids meal are nice. If you're trying to eat healthy you have some options. The superfood side salad is very lush and green although it is small because it's a side salad. The main salads are pretty decent as well. The market salad with light Italian dressing is low in calories and has mostly good stuff on it. I get it without the blue cheese to lower the fat and calories but that's just me. Their grilled chicken has nice seasoning which is a welcome upgrade from some other places. At the Voorhees location we go to we always get super friendly service from everyone we meet from start to finish in the meal without fail. They really are very nice there. Love this place! The line inside always goes fast and the food is brought to the table in no time at all. It is always clean and I have never seen an employee standing around or on a phone. The managers are awesome and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The food is always good and the orders are always correct. They have never forgotten any item. The drive-thru is absolutely crazy on any given night but the entrance has markers separating the lanes, so it does not get confusing. Staff members also stand at the line to take orders so the cars keep moving. At the speaker, you just tell them you already placed your order. The only negative is where they have placed handicap parking. The ramp is next to the line, so more times than not, you have to wait next to a car because NO ONE ever leaves space open...

I love chik fil a but not this location. I work in the mall so I have given them multiple chances because it is convenient. Once, my salad made me feel sick. Then, I ordered chicken noodle soup and it was very spicy, as if they used leftover buffalo chicken in it. And my third and last time was last night ordering chicken tenders. I waited 10 mins at the counter and they were burnt, almost black. I brought them back and the manager said nothing to me. No apology, just handed me new ones (which were so rubbery I threw them out) I felt like that was very rude. I work in customer service and can’t imagine treating a customer that way. That place is expensive so I make sure to tell everyone not to waste their money at this specific chik...
