RibCrib BBQ — Restaurant in Derby

I don't know what anyone likes about this place. Not to complain but... I have tried quite a few BBQ places but I was sort of comparing it to Hog Wild or B&C Creations but Price was WAY too high, $15.99 for 3-meat, $14.99 for 2-meat combo, everything else equally as high. Both Hog Wild and B&C have more for less. Teeny Tiny Portions, baked beans and potato salad in small little bowls (about the size of a shallow salsa cup at a mexican joint). Also, fries did not come out with our food, and they were not even busy, and they still chintzed so don't expect anything extra. Also they give you one measly piece of toast, not even texas toast, hog wild at least gives you 2. DRY MEAT. Sliced brisket and hot links dry as a fart, and that's saying something! Not juicy in the least. Sauce was TERRIBLE, hot was real vinegar-like and mild was sweeter vinegar-like. How does this place stay in business???!?!? And tiny piece of lemon in the water, there is nothing good about this place, service was average. Oh and the baked beans tasted like Bush's out of the can and the fries tasted like Long John Silver. If i could put down 0 stars i would. My wife and I will NEVER eat here again!! This was our 2nd time in a year our 1st time was NO better. But we figured we'd try it again. The ribs were very fatty, tough, and cold, the brisket was also very tough, tasteless and cold, the corn on the cob was mushy an luke warm, the coleslaw was the worst we ever had. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm and the gravy tasted more like paste. Not only that when we 1st got there, there were only 2 other couples in the building, it still took 3 minutes 45 seconds to get a seat. Then our waitress only came by once to see if we needed anything else, the employees were standing around chatting up a storm instead of working, we had to ask our waitress for a wet towel to clean off our table it was sticky when we sat down. Our silverware was also full of water spots. We cleaned those ourselves also. I honestly feel for almost a $40.00 meal for 2 the food would have been hot an the tables and the silverware would clean. I will not recommend this ribcrip...

Plus on Tuesday's They Feature All You Can Eat Ribs, 4-10:00pm, or until they run out of ribs, and if you go there on your Birthday, you have your Choice of a FREE Dessert, and I took my dad on his 79th Birthday and we both enjoyed there Black Berry Cobler with ice cream, and it's a must have again Dessert once you try it! Plus we both ate our meals with Desserts for only $34.31, that included the taxes!
