AU has been my mother's go-to jewelry store as long as I can remember. We have gone there for everything from repairs to custom pieces, and what is best about AU is the sensitivity of John and Daniella to their customers' needs. John has designed several custom pieces for me, and each time has worked through the conceptual process with patience and complete customer focus. I am fairly particular about what I like, and John has changed and modified pieces multiple times until I was happy. More than that, he has gone out of his way to wow with personal touches-- like making a dvd for me showing the process of him molding and creating the custom cocktail ring I ordered! I wear that ring and many other pieces he has designed or helped me source almost daily. John recently helped me to pick out a new menswear-style watch that I had envisioned in my mind but not seen in any store. His ability to sense the style and needs of the customer is amazing. After looking at several watches in both the store and in books and noting the elements I liked best, he was able to find the perfect watch for me and ordered it within a few days. I am thrilled with it and so glad I went to him for assistance. I recently went to John and Daniela's au jewelers shop on a whim based on reviews I read here, and I am so happy. I'm very hesitant to trust people and especially with my jewelry because of sentimental value it holds for me. However, I went to John with my wedding band ring to be appraised, and also to fix the prongs on my engagement ring so that it would fit as a snug on my newly purchased wedding ring. It looks amazing, and I wish I was able to post the picture. finally no gap in between, especially since my engagement ring setting has smaller stones compared to the wedding band. They willingly share their knowledge and answer all questions you may have. They’re very caring, which is noticeable from the time you walk into their store. I can’t say enough about the way they treat their customers. And the jewelry, there are so many things I like about their jewelry.
