Best Sushi Grill — Restaurant in Desert Hot Springs

I visited this place last Sunday, I was there with my wife and my 4 year old, we are regulars at Dragon in P.D. since we are new in DHS we wanted to try something closer to our house, this place is about 5 minute drive from us, when we arrived they had about 4-5 tables with customers, we were told by Rosy to sit anywhere, our server was Stacey, we order 2-3 rolls and the sushi plater around $45 plate, the portions are decent, definitely fresh, no odor and the fish felt right at touch, I love the fact they served our plate with ice so it will keep our fish cold and preventing the bacteria growth, restrooms were clean and organized, I walked over to the sushi display glass, not many items for display as if they were ready to close which I was right! if your check is over $75 the add 15% gratuity tip, our service was great and give our server a little more in cash, looking forward to visit this place again and is highly recommended from someone who love's seafood in...

Best Sushi Grill says it in the name, Since San Francisco two years ago it has been difficult to find a good Bento box locally, but at Best Sushi Grill it's more like Bento trays; the portions are big, (I'm 262lbs) with the sashimi cuts being the size of little steaks and not the little potato chip size we're all used to.

Took my friends and neighbors last night, table of 6 was easily made, wish phone worked for reservations but we had no problem when we arrived. There is a strong homeless presence in the immediate area but the parking is just feet away from the front door. We left at 10 pm on a Monday.

The vanilla mochi dessert needs to have its own line here, sooooooooo goooooooood I had re-evaluate my whole life lol, And I danced to the music with every bite, Yup, that level!

I have been a repeat customer for many years now. Years ago, the management suffered and was holding back a lot of potential from this restaurant, but it eventually was revamped, and the menu/food took off to become quite an amazing reflection of what you expect in a high end sushi restaurant. I used to enjoy sitting at the bar alone to enjoy the experience of small talk with the sushi chefs while they would occasionally hand me unique one offs that were very authentic to a Japanese cuisine. It kept me coming back as each visit varried from the last.
