Sushi Bella — Restaurant in Desert Hot Springs

I had the privilege of stopping in and eating sushi at this amazing new restaurant called Sushi Bella in Desert Hot Springs California. They're under new ownership and their grand opening was October 10th 2024. I was so excited to be able to have dinner with my son at this new amazing Sushi/Japanese restaurant. The food was excellent, the fish was fresh, the Asahi and sake was excellent also.... It's a nice little quaint place where you can enjoy sitting inside or outside dining, the music that is being played in the restaurant is very soothing and like mentioned earlier the atmosphere is very calming and inviting. The place is very clean. I recommend everyone stopping at this new restaurant and trying out the amazing food. You will not be disappointed!.. The new owners are from LA they're very familiar with Japanese cuisine and sushi bars. So if you're looking for a nice Sushi / Japanese food restaurant off the 10 freeway next to Palm Springs exit Palm Drive in Desert Hot Springs California definitely give Sushi...

Very unfortunate to have to write this one, as my gf and I love sushi Bella and eat here at least once a month if not weekly. Today, however, we ordered a Shogun Combo which per the menu online comes with 10 pc nigiri, 4pc spicy tuna and 6 pc crunch roll. When we got home, we saw the crunch roll was missing and called them to see what's up. The lady on the phone told us the menu had changed and they hadn't updated the menu yet. I inquired as to whether we could get the crunch roll anyway since we didn't know this, and she said no, after consulting with the manager.

They're false advertising here and refusing to make things right when a customer calls them out. Very unfortunate that one of the few good places to get food in DHS is engaging in such shady practices. Make sure to double check your order if you get carryout here or, better yet, skip...

Great food!! Great great great great food!! Family of six (four of us from out of town) wanted some sushi and this place got good reviews, was close, and so we tried it.

I had called ahead to be sure they were open. When we arrived they were closed. Shortly after, I got a text from them saying that they'd had an emergency and had to close, with great apologies. They really want to help their customers. So ... we simply went the following evening for dinner.

Service was great. Our waitress was helpful and knew the menu. I'm a simple sushi kind of guy, but some in my family love to order customized "oddball" meals. She got it all. It was great tasting, fresh, nicely sized portions. Large selection. Nothing bad at all and all good.

Next time we're in town we'll definitely hit up Sushi...
