I am so happy that I live in the apartments right behind here, because this is going to be my go-to coffee spot from now on. I want to emphasize how delicious the flavor of this coffee is! You can tell it’s fresh — and roasted to perfection. The ratio of cream & syrup in my latte was perfect! Not too sweet, but yet sweet enough. The flavor of coffee was strong the way I like it, but it was not bitter whatsoever. Coffee was 10/10. I also ordered a croissant. I came for the chocolate croissant, but they were out; They apologized for being out & said there would be a delivery arriving any minute. I did not mind, because frequent deliveries mean fresher products. I ordered the Monterey Jack croissant, and it was sooooo good. The croissant was crispy, buttery, and flaky — the cheese perfectly melty… I wish I had a photo but I ate it so fast HAHA. This was my first time here after a recommendation from a colleague. The environment was very laid back and comfortable. Looks like a great spot for locals to catch up or get started for the day. Thank you Maas Coffee… 5...
Read moreThis place is absolutely AMAZING! The owner is on site at times, and actively works to train the baristas in understanding coffee from bean to brew in addition to the process of creating coffee drinks. No only that, they don’t just grind, tamp, and pull the shot, they actually weigh their grinds, and get rid of the excess. I was pleasantly surprised to see this since it’s a practice that is almost unheard of in commercial settings. You can tell they really put effort, heart, and skill into their craft. The in-house and frequent roasting of their beans is an incredible find as well. Last but certainly not least, each and every employee we have spoken has been welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. It is a definite must when in Destin!
Some favorites we’ve enjoyed are, Affogato, Massiato, Macchiato, the seasonal Coquito, and Namatchaste. Usually I get a simple latte, but their ingredients were so lovely, that something fancier was...
