If I could rate this experience in the negatives I would. I never rate places but this blew me out of the water with the service and food! Me and my boyfriend came for a date night and got seated next to a baseball team out of everywhere we could have been seated because it wasn’t busy. Our server didn’t come for a good 5-10 minutes and he introduced himself carrying dirty dishes from another table just passing by. We then said we wanted cheese dip and an order of nachos for starters and asked for some things off of our nachos and he proceeded to try and take our menus as if that was all we ordered. We then kept one menu and got the nachos and they came with everything we asked off of them and told him and he said “ohhhh” as if he didn’t understand the first time we asked and then told us we weren’t able to get those things off of it! Next we ordered our actual food and I ordered a Burrito California that is supposed to come with your choice of steak or chicken rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, and guacamole topped with queso and I got a burrito with vegetables rice no source of protein and queso on top. My boyfriend wanted a plate with rice and chicken with queso on top and he told him he couldn’t do chicken without lettuce onions and tomato’s so he got rice steak and queso and it still came out with no queso so we ordered 2 more sides of queso. Then the women who brought out the queso we asked to get our server for us and she didn’t understand english so we had to google translate it for her (I understand since she wasn’t a server but still). Our server proceeded to come and we asked if my burrito was the burrito california and he said yes so we asked for a menu to read over what it was again and then when he came back showed him what it said was in it and asked for a different burrito with what i specifically asked for and they still missed the guacamole that i asked for in it but they fixed it. We then proceeded to ask for the bill because we were just not in the mood anymore and thankfully they told us it was on the house because I wasn’t going to let my boyfriend pay for that. Oh yeah and we heard the baseball team next to us have complications in their orders too getting things they didn’t order or things they messed up too. I don’t recommend going here at all unless you aren’t a picky eater and want specific things off of your meal, are ready to wait for a server, and are okay with...
Read moreJuly 10th dine in for dinner. Honestly, this is the worst place we have ever eaten at. From the moment we walked in the employees were arguing with each other. They didn’t seem to care that guests were in the area/watching. We took long to be seated (30 min) and it turns out our number wasn’t even on the list, yet they gave us a buzzer and told us we would be buzzed when our table was ready. We sat and knew we would have terrible service, but had already waited and decided to just stick it out because we were hungry. Our server took about 10 min to arrive to our table and ask us what we wanted to drink. Our food came out warm, not hot. We were given no utensils so we had to wait another 15 min until I was able to wave down our server. By the time we got utensils our food was no longer warm. My son’s kids meal was never brought out, nor napkins. Our server never came back to us and another random server started helping us out. We then had to flag down our server again so that we could get the check. Since the server never came back (not surprising) we got up to find him and had him charge us standing so we could get out of there. The floor all around us was dirty. The employees were still arguing with each other at the front. No sense of management at this restaurant so we didn’t even bother to complain. As someone visiting the area we had high hopes because the reviews/pictures were and looked so good, but we were definitely disappointed. Not sure how this place is up and running, or how there is even any good reviews. Would definitely recommend going somewhere else to eat because this place was not it. Especially when you are visiting and want a nice dinner for your family. Worst restaurant my family has ever eaten at. Would give 0...

Our recent visit to Peppers Mexican Grill and Bar in Destin was a delightful experience that transported us straight to Mexico. As Texans accustomed to authentic Mexican cuisine, we were pleased to find that the atmosphere truly reflected the culture — from the lively music to the bilingual service in both English and Spanish.
The food arrived quickly, which was impressive. We started with corn chips and a flavorful salsa, complemented by a spicy salsa that added just the right kick. The fajitas, which my wife ordered, were rich in flavor and perfectly cooked—definitely a highlight. The rice was fresh, and the beans were delicious. My mixed ceviche was a standout — a perfect balance of shrimp, octopus, and fish, with just the right amount of jalapeño spice to give it a genuine kick.
While our server was attentive overall, he could have paid a bit more attention to drinks and table needs. Initially, my wife's mixed fajitas were unavailable, but the staff quickly resolved the issue when they received some shortly after. Despite this minor hiccup, the food more than made up for it.
Overall, the quality of the food was exceptional — a true 5 out of 5. The flavors, freshness, and authenticity made us feel like we were dining in Mexico. We are so impressed that we plan to become lifetime customers at Peppers Mexican Grill and Bar.
Thank you for providing such authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine. We look forward to...
