Destin Beach Shore — Attraction in Destin

On a Tuesday, After We Smashed The Track for putt-putt & Carting, We easily drove across the street and parked, walked 200ft, LOTS of parking between the hotels and A Beautiful little beach trail running along side for a walk. Immediately clean and open Public Restrooms/ Changing Rooms and a ramp to hit the sand. This particular Beach Access is very small in regards to laying out, a big crowd will eat up all available real estate, as the rest is private beach sand for the hotels. You can still walk the beach and enjoy the waters, just watch for special areas for the Jet Ski Launches. There Are MANY spots around Destin, IF you are visiting the Track and want to jump straight into the water after, this is your access point. If you're planning on making it a day or limited in your time here, definitely go check out the other spots. Very Clean, Awesome Staff, Lots of things near to walk to and again, Directly Across...

Came from Eglin beach because it had too much sea weeds floating around but should of stayed in those weeds..

This beach is divided into public and private sections which make the public section OVERCROWDED! I was there in July with my kids and i get it, it's july but the private 50 foot section left and right was empty!

Parking is free but it's hard to enjoy good beach time when you can't find a spot in the sand to put your towel down..

But the worst part was being bit and stung by something that part of the water! Every few minutes i would a sting on my leg, my back, my arm, felt like a horse fly biting you, a needle prick and it wasn't just me, my kids got stung, i've heard others in the water talked about it but the water was clear and i couldn't see anything in it.

The only thing i can think of was clear jellyfish or something like sea lice!!! Never going back...

Absolutely stunning beach spot! The water here is a breathtaking turquoise blue, and the sugar-white sand makes you feel like you’ve been transported to the Caribbean. It’s one of those places that instantly puts you in vacation mode.

There’s plenty of parking if you arrive before 11am — after that, it starts filling up fast. Right near the entrance, there’s an ice cream and candy shop that’s perfect for grabbing a sweet treat on your way in or out. You’ll also find some water sports rentals nearby, so there’s no shortage of things to do.

The only downside is the size — the public beach area is wedged between two private condos, so space is limited and it fills up quickly, especially on weekends. Still, if you can get there early, it’s well worth it for the views and the vibe. Definitely one of...
