Palms of Destin by Panhandle Getaways — Hotel in Destin

At best it's OK, it seemed a bit dingy, beautiful pool, the restaurant was Very Good, the menu has a great variety but the menu is terribly misleading and they overcharge, as an example they have steak Fajitas on the menu, so you order Steak fajitas and then you get the bill and there is an up charge for the steak? how is it steak fajitas if the steak is extra? so the menu is deceptive and in my opinion it's done to gouge in a sneaky way, the room we were in was clean, but the sliding glass doors that weigh a ton were impossible to open because the sliders are out of adjustment, then the door handle is about to fall off because it was repaired by an incompetent handyman rather than a professional, So the screws are falling out because they used the wrong kind, the whole place is in a state of disrepair, seems like management is incompetent and does not know how all the rusted out brackets on every single wood post are a structural liability. The redeeming features were: the people working here, they seemed genuinely nice and attentive, the views from the upper floors where we stayed, our friends who drove a tesla there found the charging station convenient, ample parking, close to shopping, the proximity to the beach and a couple good...

Was a great place for the family. Close to the beaches and shopping. Great views of the Gulf. The pool was a plus. Fully equipped kitchen for all your needs with washer and dryer. Very clean and well maintained. The only thing that we did not like it the fact that the terms and conditions were not they same when we were there . Did not mention that we could not listen to our own music while at the pool , has they were not playing . Then was told that we were not allowed to play 3rd party music . That was told by security . They should have a full account of all policies at time of booking from all sources . Other than that mishap, Kids loved the place!! PS ......STAY AWAY FROM THE VERY VERY VERY VERY OVER PRICE DRINKS 2...

We came before this place really got to the busy season but LOVED our stay.

We had more than one logical hiccups on our trip and the front desk was incredibly helpful & flexible. We really felt like we were taken care of. A HUGE thank you to Shantez to being incredibly kind and helping us out throughout the trip.
