Smoothie King — Restaurant in Destin

Very unimpressed with one person who I think worked there. I had just opened the door when I overheard an employee talking to another about losing a family member to Covid (bless her!) and a different coworker told her she needs to “just get over it.” The one comment made me so upset because I have family members who are first responders and who have had Covid (and could have died) and I didn’t even bother coming in. In my car I looked inside the building and I’m pretty sure she (the rude employee) then walked out from the back Worker with bright colored red hair (and even had AirPods in while working? Great smoothie, love it so much. The store was not opened at 8 am when we arrived which is no big deal but we waited and waited. Finally someone unlocked the front door and I walked in but then was notified by I guess the manager that they couldn’t sell anything because inventory was not done yet. A little aggravated because we needed to get on the road. I’m pregnant and a smoothie is all that sounded good. She said it would be 10 more min so we went to another restaurant for our kids then went back. The most professional staff I've seen in a while. My smoothie was so on point. I told Aurmurii that I was going to have to take her back to GA with me to train all Smoothie King staff on how to make smoothies the Smoothie King way.
