Tacos angel Destin — Restaurant in Destin

While in Destin on vacation, I ate plenty of seafood, but for some reason, I had a hankering for some tacos. I ended up finding Tacos Angel, which was less than 8 minutes away from our resort. It's a food truck and it's located near the The Track and the prices were reasonable each taco was $3.50 and if you wanted it loaded with cheese, sour cream, and lettuce it was an extra dollar. I ended up getting three tacos: carnitas, which is pork, steak, and birria, and fully loaded, of course. I got two with flour and one with a corn tortilla. I ended up getting rice and beans on the side just in case the three tacos weren't enough. Cuz nothing irritates me more than getting Itty bitty tacos, and they cost $15 to $20. But these tacos here, baby, were soooo damn good and hefty. The flavor on these was amazing. I enjoyed every single one. They give sauces to dip the tacos in and baby they were all good. You know the food is good when there's no conversation. You didn't hear a peep out of me until I was done, and I ate it all. I highly recommend this truck for...

We came here for dinner and had a great experience not busy at all, got our food quickly, Birria tacos were phenomenal. The second time was awful. We waited an HOUR for our birria and it came with not even a teaspoon of consomé per order which has three tacos. We got little cheese, one lime and no radishes either. The first order had radishes, onions, FULL consome, 3 limes, plenty of cheese and was amazing. I work in the restaurant industry and am fully aware of how busy it can be and stressful, but food QUALITY should be priority. The hour wait would have been nothing if the food was as good as the first time we went. Keep in mind each visit was within 3 days of each other. Do not go here...

OK, before we walked up to order we looked at the reviews AGAIN and ALL we saw were 5's .......... we just finished eating back at our condo and NOW WE KNOW WHY it was all 5's. THAT WAS TASTY !!!! We are here for another week and will probably eat there 3 more times. Carnitas taco on corn tortilla + a birria taco on corn for me. A birria taco and steak taco on flour tortillas for her. Wishing we would have gotten a couple more even though we are full. THANKS !!!!!
