Honestly, I have waited a while to write this because it makes me sad. I had The Big Red Truck cater my wedding. On my wedding day they showed up on time and everything for the day had went perfect. After the ceremony my husband and I went to take pictures. Upon return we came back to all of our guest wondering around and being told they had to eat now because the truck was going to leave. Needless to say as a bride I was DEVASTATED! The rest of the reception was completely thrown off. We were not able to be announced on our way back in. The cake, the first dance, the everything from then on was not in order. I have tried and tried to let this go but can't. I had assumed it was something on my end that I didn't plan correctly. However, I have went back and I found the contract I signed with The Big Red Truck. No where on there did it say they would only stay for 2hrs. Every time I communicated with the staff (Mostly Ms Jami) they were very nice and professional. I had explained many times that my wedding and reception were in the same place and that my wedding began at 6. NEVER was I told that they would serve food at 6 and leave at 8. I do understand that they would have to leave at some point. I would have gladly paid for them to stay longer if that was what was needed. It was never communicated to me that it was looking like time was going to be an issue.
My wedding was wonderful overall but for the rest of my life I have to remember that my wedding day was completely thrown off because of the catering. My husband did not even eat that night. I tried but really was too busy trying to have to coordinate everything else to run smoothly and change the order of everything. Bottom line, no Bride wants to come back to her reception ready to be announced to her guest only to find them already eating because the people catering said they were going to leave. It really made me sad at all the hard work, time and money put into a wonderful joining of families was...
Read moreVisited the Big Red Food Truck on September 21, 2025, and had an awesome experience! The truck is operated by Chef Tommy and his wife, who are both incredibly welcoming. Service was phenomenal—Chef Tommy himself took time to chat with us, and you can tell he’s passionate about his food and his customers.
I ordered the Big Back Smash Burger, and wow—absolutely delicious! Perfect seasoning, cooked just right, and topped with a flavorful garlic aioli that really set it apart. The fries on the side were just as good—crispy, hot, and packed with flavor. My friend ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and let me sample it—another 10/10 dish, especially with that same garlic aioli sauce.
What stood out most (besides the food) was the atmosphere and hospitality. Chef Tommy is a big supporter of law enforcement, fire, EMS, and military, which speaks volumes about the kind of people running this business.
Overall, this was easily one of the best food truck experiences I’ve had—both food and service were top-notch. Highly recommend checking them out, and I’ll definitely be back soon with my wife to try even more...
Read moreThe owners do not want my business now. I just got her message and I am okay with that. She said to go to other places. I will abide to her request and take all my business and friends also to other places that want my/our business.
My trouble is not with food here but the staff here. I fished for 8 hours and went to buy a couple beers for the crew and get change for crew tips. I gave them a fifty and got change for twenty, after asked for my correct change they shut me down and said no fifty in drawer. Why would you think the drawer would not balance that night, if they took the money they would NOT leave the money in drawer or would they, it is "Floriduh" after all. They have video of this deal and will not let me see this, If she was in restaurant when this was taking place, WHY would you not come out to see the reason for up roar outside your place.
If you go here just count your change and watch like a hawk, it is your money.
You will not see me here, but at AJs or Brotulas, right close by, never had...
