Me and my family travel every year to destin and always visit the track. We’ve never had a problem its always been fun hair policy was not a thing when we visited. After how ignorant the staff were we dont need to spend our money here again. It ruined our whole vacay night Ive gone down and read bad reviews and they as well have to do with the fact that the staff were all teens who do nothing. They stand there doing nothing they dont know how to control situations nor to do the respectful thing. Teach your staff how to correctly handle things because their egos completely took over which is so unprofessional. Now ive also seen reviews with racism towards blacks and their hair. Me and my mexican family Bought tickets at the booth. The lady saw my hair and said you should be fine she asked if i needed a hair tie after my cousin said they gave her one. I said nty because the lady never had a problem with my hair length she saw the length and should have informed i needed the hair tie. These rules are new and are being strictly placed with no heads up. After waiting so long in line the guy said i couldnt get on because my hair wasnt tied. I said okay so we tied my hair? Multiple times we put it in a bun every way u think to tie your hair but i was simply just not allowed? On the signs it says you cannot get on if hair is longer than your waist. My hair was not longer than my waist! I had cut it before visiting destin. The rude young girl kept catching very rude attitude they were all so dismissive. She then tells me to take my hair down to check or i can simply leave. So are you going to make every other girl take their hair down and make sure its not longer length? Every other white girl there had their hair tied some with my length but they said “Oh the hairtie can fall off” OK what about everyone elses? And they proceed to tell my curly haired cousin which her hair was alrdy tied does not pass shoulders to see her hair. That was so unnecessary Why did they not check every other persons hair tied?. My mom defending me ofc were standing up for our selfs asking questions but ofc the staff cannot handle situations respectful which causes more we did not get treated nor talked to nicely at all since the begging except the black man who was sort of nicer. And to the “scene” they think we caused. We match energy you not gonna respect us we not gonna respect you. “The manager” Was okay he wasn’t as rude he didn’t refund all tickets because he felt we didn’t deserve it which is funny after waiting so long in line for tickets and the ride. And to the lady who called my mom crazy because we gave her same energy since she was so quick to disrespect little girl cant handle nor tolerate situations do your job correctly put your ego to the side. There has been multiple problems in these reviews about the hair, racism, and rude staff. Fix this issue because it seems to me its still the same. One thing ab my family we dont tolerate disrespect nor discrimination especially by young teens you could see them gossiping isn’t this a family friendly place? Girl in the blue was very disrespectful gave attitude the whole time looks no older than...
Read moreWe visited the track yesterday, 07-10-21. •To say I wouldn’t even recommend this place to my worst enemy is an understatement. There’s so much broken, requiring IMMEDIATE maintenance, and/or shut down because they’re understaffed.• Several times before visiting I read a few negatives about it, height requirements, even how a few rides were closed. That was all fine, but it never prepared me for such a horrible experience. To start with, don’t ask anyone for help that runs the elevated track. They not only mix up cards when getting them to go scan them, but my child’s seat belt came unbuckled on the second story of the elevated track and people hit us on their way by causing him to bump around. I could NOT get my seat belt unblocked to reach him and buckle him back up. So I done what any parent would do and went around to the next story where an EMPLOYEE was to ask for help, but instead he blew a whistle at me and sent me down a track with my child unbuckled. I stopped at another employee at the very bottom of the elevated track, and SHE SENT ME ON WITHOUT ASSISTING US AS WELL! Once I started getting off the ride I realized none of them was even aware, paying attention, or listening when I was begging for them to buckle him back in for me to just get off the track. Both me and my child left that cart in tears, but luckily a lady that was running the swings completely changed our night for the better. I’d give her alone 5 stars if I could, and a pay raise. Yet, I still would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy. Employees should be trained to watch for safety harnesses and seat belts coming undone, occupants in distress, and how to help someone in need immediately and safely. Rides need updating and maintenance. Several things need to be cleaned, or just redone in general. Take this as the review you needed to see, if you have smaller children don’t waste your money on a points package, or this Track...
Read moreI had the most exhilarating experience at The Track in Destin, Florida, and it was an absolute blast! If you're looking for an arcade center that offers thrilling rides and endless entertainment, this is the place to be. First and foremost, the highlight of our visit was riding the speedy carts with my friends. We had an amazing time zipping around the tracks, feeling the adrenaline rush as we raced against each other. Since we were a group of six people, we decided to purchase 115 points, and to our delight, we received a $15 group discount. Each game cost us 12 points per person, and let me tell you, every point was worth it! The rides were not only thrilling but also incredibly fun. We rode the carts twice, once on the longer track and another time on the slippery track. The excitement and joy we experienced were unmatched, and it created memories that will last a lifetime. In addition to the amazing go-karting experience, The Track offered a plethora of other arcades for us to enjoy, such as mini golf, roller coaster, and etc... The well-designed course added an extra layer of fun to our day.
If there is one small suggestion I have for The Track, it would be to make the kiosk more noticeable for first-time visitors. It would be helpful to have clear signage or staff members stationed near the entrance to provide guidance and information. This would ensure that newcomers can easily find the necessary information and maximize their experience right away.
The combination of speedy carts, the enticing group discount, and the various arcades made our visit absolutely unforgettable. Whether you're looking to satisfy your need for speed or indulge in some friendly competition, The Track has something for everyone. Don't miss out on the opportunity to create incredible memories with friends and family. Visit The Track and prepare for an adrenaline-fueled experience you...
