Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Detroit

Ordered through the app, made sure all my information was correct. Look at my app and it said that the food was delivered. I called the guard house at the complex I live at and they said that the delivery driver didn't have any of my info so for safety purposes they didn't let him in. I called the Detroit layefette location and was told to just come in and pick up my order 😒 so I go in and explain to the manager what happened. They tried to call the driver with no luck. So now I had to wait until they remade my entire order. As I'm sitting there, the driver comes walking in and his bag is empty. Me and other lady was puzzled because if he was unable to deliver two online orders, then where's the orders? I placed my online order at 5:20, I walked out of the place at 7:45!!!! Orders were being given away to the wrong people. I will say the manager was patient and polite...

It's always a gamble at this location. Tonight my sticker seal, that is to prove there was No tampering, is not and was not put on fully. There's no cardboard missing from a sticker ever being there. I would gladly show proof if I can find the upload option. I guess they don't let anyone post pictures anymore providing proof. So, I'll explain what I'm seeing... It's like the sticker was ripped in half and they only put the bottom half on the box. I've had several issues mostly with door dash, I don't hold that against Hungry Howies but I do hold them to 1 star because of their attitude and difficulty to get a refund. Also note.. It seems that... You know what I'm thinking now... I think they're outsourcing they're answering service to very professional Indians, while the actual restaurant is still hiring locally.

Long story short, they NICKEL and Dime their customers. A small two topping pizza is currently $6.99, plus 6% sales tax in MI. But using Hungry Howie's math, that adds up to $8.88(which is wrong).

Once this issue was corrected, I was charged $7.62. keep in mind my total should've been $7.41 with tax.

I asked about the discrepancy, and the young lady at the window responded "oh that's the credit card fee".

Just be mindful that they charge an addition 3% - 20% on orders and casually pass them off to unsuspecting customers.
