King Grill — Restaurant in Detroit

Wednesday afternoon I brought my grandkids and my wife in for lunch. The lady that was serving us had on open toe shoes flip flops with no socks on feet exposed and for odd reason she couldn't get our order right two bacon cheeseburgers with fries three cheeseburgers without and a corned beef or an onion roll she got that totally mixed up The corned beef came on regular bread burned not on on your road like it was supposed to and she was just so out of sync so we tried to help her and all we got was attitude and I still tip her. So I go in this morning I ordered a breakfast sandwich on by phone so I get in there she instantly has an attitude because I looked at the price wrong I said is there a difference between my sandwich and this other gentleman sandwich I looked at the price wrong and I admit it was my fault but it didn't cost for the attitude and the remark she made but come to find out she told the other lady that works with her that I was the one that came in and mentioned something about her and her feet being out. For each day I go in there cuz I work right across the street from the establishment anything I ordered I always leave a $5 tip no matter what it is I leave a $5 tip or if I pay cash I give her a $5 tip and she still has an attitude...

Honestly I have ordered here before but the last 2 times I have ordered my order was TERRIBLE! This morning was the icing on the cake. I ordered a French toast breakfast add bananas and to start i paid 20$ for the meal. The French toast was burnt to a crisp and 2$ for fresh bananas is false advertisement the bananas were anything but fresh. Eggs had a hair in it. I called to see if they could compensate me with another meal at a different time instead of a refund and wasnt mad at all (things happen) the manager had a extremely nasty attitude towards me and was VERY rude. She told me bring it back and she can give refund I explained to her I took photos but that food is in the trash me being at work I cant leave work just to take it back and its no where to store the food she said idc if its next week bring it back I explained to her once again. She started getting smart and disrespectful didnt care at all. So i told her i will just further more call an health inspector to let them...

It’s a No for me Ordered our food then asked what soup they had for the day and was told Chicken lemon rice.( My favorite yay!!) She went out her way to say how it was just made fresh and so delicious. However, I’ve been in the restaurant industry for almost 20+ years (I love Avgolemono soup btw) and Ik fresh food when I see/taste it. The soup was not fresh and was cold in the middle because you microwaved it. I’m not opposed to day or two old soup (more flavor iyam ), but this was beyond that. Then you tried to charge me twice, once before my food was done(which I paid and tipped) and then after it was ready. Get this though... it was almost $10 higher the second time. Cherry on top, a long straight brown hair in my bag (my hair is curly) as I searched for a spoon which looked used, yuck. No thanks! Never...
