Went to Red Miso for dinner. And by time it was over we wished we never did. Ordered 2 appetizers one was a flat bread with a yellow curry sauce with chicken. This had no flavor at all very bland a yellow broth with chicken floating in it. Second one steamed buns. This had some flavor to it but no enjoyable. The peanut sauce on it was overpowering and tasted like peanut butter. We bother ordered the ramen noodles. My wife got chicken and I had pork belly. The chicken was over cooked and tough. The pork belly was mostly fat and the teriyaki sauce was hardly detectable on the noodles. So you would think well that sucks. But it just get even worse. Our server came over to clear the dishes and as she reaches for them knocks my wife’s drink over. Now you would think she would be concerned with cleaning it up but no she gathered the dishes and walked away leaving us to clean up the mess she made we had a few napkins to try to clean up the mess hoping that she was bringing over a towel or more napkins to help. But no she never came back. Finally another server came over not with napkins but with another drink in the same cup with the same straw that was just spilled. We asked for napkins or a towel to clean the he mess and once again this server never came back they sent a third server over with the check finally. And not one person from management came over to apologize in fact no ever did apologize. We were just happy to leave at this point. Shame on you the manager of Red Miso for treating...
Read moreHow bad could it possibly be, there aren’t enough numbers to list, so I will make it brief. This was the absolute worst meal I think I have ever eaten. The shrimp was off — smelled off, tasted off. The egg that was in the Ramen was hard boiled and was turning colors, not natural soup-related color either. The Ramen itself was one congealed lump at the bottom of the bowl. It looked and tasted like they bought the 4 for a dollar packets of ramen and served it. No taste whatsoever, except for the bad shrimp. When the waitress came over and asked how it was, and we told her how bad it was, she asked if we wanted her to bring us out some seasonings to put in the Ramen. Never saw her again. Veggie tempura was supposed to have come with soy sauce. I don’t know what it was that they brought out because it wasn’t even rice vinegar. It was some watered down tasteless brown liquid that was disgusting. The Philly Rangoon was deep fried burnt smoked salmon. It was just gross. The miso ramen was lukewarm at best and had the color is miso but that was about it. The veggies in the soup consisted of one piece of broccoli each (we counted) and one radish slice. No fish cake in mine, husband didn’t trust the look of his to eat it. Wish we had read the reviews before we came here, because we would’ve saved almost $50. Hopefully you read the review before you make the same...
Read moreWe went there 6/25/25. We ordered the Vegi Spring Rolls, Philly Rangoons, Vegetable Ramen and Pork Yakisoba. Also a beer and a Lychee Martini.
The martini was good. We never got the Spring Rolls or Rangoons (they were also not on the bill so maybe they just skipped them). The ramen was not very hot, but had an okay flavor. No real depth and the vegi's were kinda all over in terms of doneness (some over done, others under). The Pork Yakisoba was good, tasty sauce, crispy pork.
The service was lackluster unfortunately. Our server wasn't rude but only made an appearance to take our order for drinks and dinner and then to give us our check. A check in would have helped solve our confusion about our small plates order. The rest of the staff seemed nice enough as well, but a little aimless. There was about 4-6 tables dining while we were there, I'm unsure if there is a staffing issue because there seems to be a decent sized crew.
The place seemed clean, though.
Overall, it was okay, hard to say if...
