I am updating my local 5-star review. A few days ago, I got sick here. Like always, we had ice cream at our favorite ice cream place. Fifteen to twenty minutes later, I am not going into details; it was terrible. I was the first customer of the day and thought maybe something was wrong with the machine or the mix. I told the owners; not to complain- I was worried that somebody else would get a GI problem. The owners took it very personally and started insulting me on the lowest level.
Living in Summit for the past twenty years, I have never experienced something like this. "Happily, we don't have to deal with people like you ever" "Don't worry; nobody else is getting sick, our machines are clean, it is you." Laughing while chasing me off the eatery.
I am still in shock. We previously had birthday parties and supported them throughout the tough pandemic times.
I understand that you are two very inexperienced and young business owners, and I am sorry nobody ever explained this business 1-on-1 to you. CMC has great business starter classes; you should look into them. So now, suppose a customer brings an issue to your attention. In that case, you listen, and you show compassion instead of insulting and chasing them off the property. Read it repeatedly because this advice will prevent you from getting sued in the future....
Read moreThis white guy with glasses and dirty blonde/brownish hair was extremely rude and was giving us attitude for no reason. We asked for a sample cup, and out no of nowhere he started charging us. For sample cup. Clearly we were planning to pay for a cup, but he kept asking to pay for a sample cup. Like sir what was through your brain? I felt offended because there was no reason for him to assume we where just gonna get a sample cup and leave. Why have sample then? Consider firing this guy, and hire somebody with better customer service. I told him at the end I’m not paying for attitude and left camiez. For anyone reading this, I recommend going somewhere else… this is coming from a local. The customer service ALWAYS sucks here. P.s. to the guy if you hate working so much, quit and stay home. I promise no one wants to deal with...

I wish there was more variety in flavor than in type of frozen treats; for example the options for ice cream were just vanilla and chocolate. Finally, the toppings were good, but the station was half empty, and very messy with lids only used on the empty containers, so there was a lot of cross contamination (pretzels in almond container, for example). Also, not everything was labeled, so as a gluten intolerant person, I grabbed what I thought were yogurt bites, but turned out to be some sort of vanilla cookie balls. Approach with caution if you have any...
