Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Dodge City

This stop was not as it should have been. We wanted to eat here so we did not have to get out of the car, but could sit and eat. Car hop was supposedly had too many cars when we arrived and we were asked to use the drive thru. Note: there was maybe 1 other paying customer, if that. We saw the Car 🚗 Hop sitting at the outside table on 'break' . Got our stuff from drive thru. Parked back in the stall to sit and eat. Chilli cheese tater tots had little to no chilli/cheese. Went up to the door. Asked for them to please put some chilli/cheese on it. They complied. Back to car. Eating. Saw 'car hop' take a drink out to a stall. Car hop went back to table sitting on break? Was there probly 20 min. Car hop was joined at table by drive thru window attendant. Very sad that they are getting paid for this kind of pathetic service. Not to mention the...

Repeated my order over 5 times and spoke clearly and slowly. And the person taking the order still could not get my order correct. And then the one item they sort of got correct, they tried to over charge me for something that was listed in the item description on the menu item. Instead of continuing, I left out of frustration. Any other time I’m there, you HAVE to go through the drive thru line. If you go to the park spots, it can take up to 30 min just to get a drink order, even when it’s NOT BUSY. Prices are outragous. If you don’t go during happy hour, you overpay for everything. Food isn’t that good anymore either. Dodge City Sonic used to be #1....

To start with, the credit card reader didn't work, then, when we arrived home, the footling cheesesteaks had ZERO green peppers, ZERO onions, (get real, IT HAS TO HAVE ONIONS), it was so dry couldn't hardly eat it and the onion rings were burnt. So bad we could only eat about 1/2 of two small orders. My wife got out of the pickup to tell the carhop about the card reader . While she was waiting, at least 5, maybe 6 employees were laughing, pushing each other and carrying on in the building. And, counting our vehicle, there was four(total) vehicles there. There intercom guy was on the edge of rude with my wife. All in All..... NOT KOOL...
