Taco Bell — Restaurant in Dodge City

Service is quick, and the team members are friendly. The food is good and affordable—especially compared to the McDonald’s across the street. In fact, I honestly feel like Taco Bell has become the new McDonald’s in terms of fast-food affordability. Fast food used to be cheap and quick; now it feels more like a luxury.

My main complaint about this location is that the soda machine has been broken for over two months. Because of this, employees provide drinks from the dispenser in the kitchen. Unfortunately, every time I’ve ordered a diet soda, I’ve been given the regular version instead.

To be fair, this seems to be a common issue at many fast-food and convenience-store locations. If you order a Diet Pepsi, they hand you a regular Pepsi hoping you won’t notice. This can be dangerous. What if someone can’t consume large amounts of added sugar due to insulin resistance or another health condition? Or maybe you’re someone trying to lose weight—a large soda you thought was zero-calorie Diet Pepsi could actually be 350–500 calories of regular Pepsi, and you might not realize it.

On a positive note, the dining room is clean and well-stocked, with music playing over the speakers.

Went thru the drive thru on New Year's Eve at 8:45pm.we were the only one in line. You could not read the menu it was distorted... Like it was installed wrong. After ordering we drove forward and waited... And waited! My wife and I both commented how long it was taking. When we finally received our order, he handed the food out the window with food hanging off the bottom of the box. we then asked for hot sauce, since none was offered. The employee dressed in a "hoodie"for that authentic Mexican food taste..,I guess stuck a handful out the window... No bag just a handful of packets. When my wife asked for a bag he acted put out. We then drove home 5 minutes tops, and everything was cold. We called and were told they would replace it. I drove back and called them to bring the food out, they told me to come in with the old food and they would replace it. I then again waited .... And waited and then a employee claiming to be a manager brought the food out and claimed the reason was the long lines. Again we were the only ones in line. No apologies or anything. Management are nit...

It seemed like it took longer than usual for our food to be prepared which was odd since there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. The dining room itself was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a few days. There were remnants of food on the floor and tables and none of the tables appeared to be clean so we picked the cleanest looking one. The food was as expected at Taco Bell. After eating I visited the restroom and found it even more filthy that where I had just eaten. I don't even want to know when it was cleaned last, it couldn't have been recently. The whole thing smelled very strongly of feces and the trash was over flowing. There was a sign on the mirror that said the bathroom was inspected every half hour but it certainly did not...
