We go as a family to eat many times at different locations of Los Verdes restaurant. We were in the Doral area and decided to try that location. When we walked in the atmosphere was cold and non welcoming. The server had no smile and she looked like she was not happy being a server. This time we went 3 adults - 2 children. The server came and had no smile or anything. We gave her the order. When the food came, one of the order was wrong, she had entered the wrong order. She took the plate back and we had to wait for the correct order to arrive. one of the children ordered what is normally called a chicken Cesar salad. There was no Cesar dressing only ranch. When the check came I advised the server the child did not like the salad with ranch as it did not have Cesar dressing. The whole salad was left practically untouched. I requested if they could remove it from the check. She said I have no manager and I cannot remove it. I advised the server the child did not like the salad and the reason. She said you should of told me when it was served. I would of but she never came to the table to check if everything was ok. If we wanted more drinks or anything. She also did not bring me the water I did order at the time of ordering. I had to ask another server because ours was no where to be found. we went back and forth so when I saw the conversation was going nowhere. I asked to speak with the manager. She refused to let me speak with the manager and advised he was not available, she would call him. She returned saying that the manger was not going to remove from the bill. She advised she mentioned to the manager that the salad was 1/2 eaten which was incorrect information. I asked to speak wit the manger and I was totally refused to speak to anyone especially the manager. I advised I was not going to give a good review online and she said the manager did not care.
I DO NOT recommend this Los Verdes location at all. I have gone to the location in Kendall of 152 at country walk. They are very courteous, friendly and the manager is always available to speak to you. They even come to the table as well as the server is always checking to see if we need anything. Read moreI had came to this location yesterday, March 8th around 11:40pm with my boyfriend. According to google, they close at 1am. As soon as I came in, and asked for a booth, the server said no because they have to clean the tables since dine in closes at 12am (we did not know) so she sat us a a table. She finally came up to us after 5 minutes and I had ordered but then my boyfriend wasn't ready so I told her to just come back and not to put in my order in yet, so me and my mans food could come out together. She says no she has to put mine now because they are closing soon, mind you, they still take orders til 1?! and what difference does it make? She still has to put my boyfriends order. Anyways, my food came out first and it was cold. She never bought us water nor asked what we wanted to drink. My boyfriend's food came out 5 minutes after mine but it was super cold. He ordered 2 plates, a maicito and a tostone burger. My boyfriend did a face while eating the food and she says "it's cold right? I'll heat it up", as if she already knew the food was sitting in the back. She came back with it but the food was just so bad. We ask for the check & she sees how we pushed the tostone burger away and didnt bother asking what was wrong. I told her my boyfriend couldn't eat it because it was bad. She comes back with the check and tells us how she couldn't take it off the bill because the food was touched, she didnt even offer to exchange it for something else. So we had to pay full price for something we did not eat. WORST SERVICE EVER. Iam a server myself and I would never in my life charge someone at my job if they didnt eat the food. Read moreI simply don't understand where "Los Verdes" has gone wrong in the last year. I advise your company to invest in proper management, customer service, and policy training. Please explain why the manager was not allowing my sister to take her food for 10 minutes that was under her name, phone, and email address because she didn't have the card that was used. Are people not allowed to order food for others? Are we not allowed to use virtual cards at checkout? Are we not allowed to use Apple Pay or Google Pay? The manager claimed it was policy however for the last three years it has never been the policy that was followed at Doral or Miami Lakes. Please note that nowhere on your website does it state your famous policy. If it did, on your website it should allow for one to add an alternate pick-up person for the food. The manager claims that it's due to theft however if proper policy was being followed then no one would be stealing. It's your literal employees stealing from you because they are the ones not confirming the orders with names or phone numbers on the receipt taped to the bag. I don't see much theft happening moving forward as the customer service in locations like Doral and Miami Lakes has plummeted. Who wants to go dine-in or take out at a restaurant that every time they go is always a different issue? Not to mention that the order was missing items like always, your employees never can get anything correct. An empanada de queso comes with a side of lime and salsa Rosada, why is that so difficult to understand when it's standard on your menu?
