I ordered the soup dumplings. It was my first time and it was delicious. So juicy and savory. It tasted great on its own but I love sauces so I also got the dumpling sauce, so good. I also got the Taro Boba tea. I really liked it because unlike many places it tasted very creamy, so close to tasting like a dessert. It also wasn’t too sweet. Usually places make them excessively sweet and I always have to ask for it to be 60% sweet. This one I didn’t specify and it came with the perfect amount of sweetness.
I came back three days later cuz it was so good and today Im trying the Pork Bao Bun. I also want to try the Thai Milk Boba Tea. Sometimes places get either the Taro right but the Thai milk sucks, other places get the Thai Milk tea great and the Taro sucks. I’ll have to see if this place does them both well. I’ll check in once I taste it.
The service is good. They ask if you have allergies so thats great. Establishments rarely ask about allergies so its fantastic that they did. The environment and ambience is good. On Fridays it can get crowded and the music is great, people dance and its a good spot to get a drink. The test if the week is...
Read moreHave been enjoying Yip Doral for years but have yet to write a review, so here it goes! Yip is a local, family owned and operated gem that operates several locations around Miami. So grateful that we have them in our neighborhood in Downtown Doral!
The food is fantastic and they've added some great new items to the menu since they first opened. My personal favorite are the soup dumplings, but all of the dumplings and bao buns are excellent.
Their team is very welcoming and super helpful. Problems are rare, but when they arise, the team has been quick to correct and make things right. The service has improved greatly over time and the customer experience is very efficient and smooth.
Yip is located inside of The Doral Yard, a local entertainment destination with a food hall, live music, and many local events. The space is beautiful and a perfect place to enjoy Yip's delicious menu. It tends to be a more relaxed vibe on the weekdays, and quite lively and fun on the weekends. If you're heading there on a weekend, I recommend arriving early to grab a table and staying for the evening to enjoy the live music and other...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I’ve had here and it’s disappointing because YIP in Doral used to be amazing especially when it first opened. This visit they did not have soup dumplings which is the number one dumpling in my opinion. The last time I had soup dumplings at this location months ago it also tasted questionable. The sawgrass mall location, the aventura mall location, and 1-800 lucky location are far more superior and fresh. We also ordered the pork belly bao buns and it was overly fatty for my taste, even though I know pork belly is already fatty which is to be expected, this was over the top and also just by chance that I got that piece. Lastly, the steamed chicken dumplings was the absolute worst. They were hard, I returned them to the cashier which he nicely mentioned I was going to receive a new order which was nice of them, however the dumplings overall were very underwhelming and I unfortunately will not be coming back to this location even though it’s closer to home, I will gladly visit another location for quality,...
