They messed up my snowcone and made ME feel bad about it :( I ordered a sour watermelon & sour lime, but after waiting 10 minutes they gave me regular watermelon and lime. When I told the person at the register about it, they seemed very confused about what was wrong with my snowcone and another employee told them to just pour some of the sour stuff on top (rather than remaking it). So after waiting 5 more minutes, that's what they gave back to me - meaning less than half of the snowcone was what I actually wanted and it was drowning in syrup. Not to mention the fact that the old snowcone was already melting all over the place at this point and none of the napkin dispensers in the store were stocked. When I went back to the register the two previous employees I spoke to were telling other members of the crew to "deal with it" rather than helping me. I never said anything unkind or was aggressive in any way so I don't know why they were acting like I was being difficult, I just wanted what I paid for. In the end, I just politely asked for a refund and left with no snowcone after driving 25 minutes to get there. The person who issued me the refund seemed very apologetic and kind though. My first time experiencing Bahamas Bucks was a couple of months ago an I must admit it was pretty good. This snowcone was so good that I wanted to try it again, I tried it a few weeks later, an I was very disappointed. I just said to myself it a flute, mabey it just the artists, like the person who made it was just having a bad day. Yesterday I decided to give them one more try, and this thing tastes just like water. My wife takes it back because we're not paying seven dollars for a cup of ice water. She comes back out after she said they remaid it an its the exact same way. I take it back inside the store, I ask them if they were out of the natural watermelon flavor, the young lady behind the counter says no were not out they made it wrong. The make it again but this time the switch the flavors thinking that I wouldn't not notice. A young lady makes it but this big guy stands closely beside her blocking my view. Instead of just saying we are out of natural Watermelon would you like a different flavor. While standing there they just gave me what they wanted to have. Been here many times. Mostly consistent quality - although sometimes they don't put enough flavor on the snow, but if you tell them, they'll gladly add more. About 1/2 the time, many of the tables are messy, sticky. With as many people that are working at any one time, (usually a lot) they should put someone on point to watch the few tables they have, and immediately wipe down the table when customers are finished. Pricing I think is a little blt high, but it is a treat, and not something you should do every day anyway, so that's forgivable. What's not forgivable is multiple dirty, sticky tables, when plenty of employees are just sitting around, or watching other employees make orders.. The menu is EXTREMELY large.. with little explanation about the different drink types.. and asking employees about the differences, about half the time you get the "deer in headlights" reaction... But still 5 stars because this stuff really hits the spot on a hot Texas day.. employees are accommodating when they can be, great flavor selection... overall pleasant experience - IF you can find a non - sticky place...
