Experience was horrible and to me degrading. If I can give zero stars I would. I Ordered 3 sandwiches 2 with pork bacon, 1 with turkey bacon, with extra mayonnaise on all 3. Arrived to my destination to find out 2 out of the 3 sandwiches were wrong. All sandwiches were pork no mayo at all, on none of them and bread was hard. Not to mention only 2 small pieces of bacon were on these sandwiches. Let me be more specific they were all blt sandwiches which only has bacon, lettuce and tomatoes. The tomatoes were the biggest on the sandwich with it seemed to look like 2 handful’s of lettuce. It should of just been called a tomatoe and lettuce sandwich. I call the restaurant to explain what I received they put asst. manager on the phone Ms. Tina. Ms Tina first agrees that she will put my name in the book so when I do return another day that I will not be charged. I proceeded to ask for a refund because after seeing the sandwich’s I would never want to order that again. She put me on hold for almost 10 minutes and comes back and says sure I will give you a refund. Mind you she’s the asst. manager so I don’t know why I had to be put on hold when she could have just made the decision at that point and time. She then calls me back and says I have to bring the food back to the restaurant for them to throw it away. Ok I know that there are dishonest people in this world, but for you to want me to drive around with food until I can get back to the restaurant and disregard everything else that was wrong with the order, after ordering 20 minutes before, then waiting another 25 minutes to receive my order where the bread was hard, with two small pieces of bacon, 2 large pieces of tomatoes, and 2 handful’s of lettuce, was a complete insult to me. Not to mention a tip was left for this to go order. I told MS. TINA that was a insult and she disregarded everything I just explained to her. She obviously did not care, I told her to keep the money and to have a nice day and i hung up. FYI!!!! customers are not always right, and you do not have to get out of character just do not return and spend your money at the establishment anymore. I have a lot of family members who dine in and out of here. I will be letting them know their time is up and to not spend money at this...
Read moreLess than impressed. First thing you see is a handwritten sign on the door cautioning about wait times because everyone's short staffed. We all get it by now, not sure the stand they were making other than, 'I don't pay employees well nor give benefits.'
Anyway, my son ordered a breakfast sandwich and i order shrimp and grits. My son's came out within a reasonable amount of time and the waitress stated mine would come soon. Ok, not too unusual, not the most professional as tables should be served together but whatever.
So we wait. And wait. And wait some more. No one is even refilling my coffee. My son has finished, we are both now just sitting there. I finally stand up after literally 25 minutes, go to the front, hey ignored for a good while, and finally get to tell a staff member to forget my order. I will pay for my son's and we are leaving.
The waitress apologizes, says mine is almost done. Almost? How long does it take to cook shrimp and grits? We had now been there 40 minutes after placing the initial order. My son had eaten and finished, mine was still somewhere. I again said no, thanked her, and told her i wanted to leave.
Long story short, they held up my ticket and finally brought it to me with a to go bag of shrimp and grits, essentially sticking me with paying for something i now didn't want to eat and had waited a ridiculous amount of time for. I had to go, you ever eaten reheated shrimp? Nasty
Mind you, they knew they sent out my son's order within minutes, then didn't have my order ready till over half an hour later and I was leaving. That is NOT how you serve tables- do they think people want to sit and stare at each other eating?
Not even an offer of comping the coffee. As a manager in a past life, i would have comped the meal and done some training. One dish should never be cooked that far in advance of another for the same table. Comping is better than a bad review
Never...
Read moreI give Thumbs Up in Douglasville a 2.5 really! This spot used to be awesome and the food was amazing but just like any other resturaunt that has high volume customer service, the food prep, and cleanliness has gone completely down since opening! The last two visits the staff had attitudes, the food made wrong, or they just did not bring all the order out, they dont comp anything for the inconvenience and realy have nothing to say for the piss poor service! The wait is way too long and now that it is winter its Cold inside! After my experience today I will not be back! Hearing the staff complain about the volume leads me to believe this is done bcuz they don’t want people to come back! Also the staff should come to work presentable, that means hair COMBED and put up so hair does not get in food, clean uniform, nothing hanging out! Idk who does the highering here but that job should go to someone more qualified to higher appropriate staff that actually cares about customer service and not just to show up for a check! Staff should be strategic with seating guests making sure the larger groups get the bigger tables and the smaller groups get the smaller tables, the sign up should have two sides, 1. For under 3 guest and another for more this way people dnt feel offended about the order then assign the larger sheet to the larger tables and so on! I own a tech company so my god what you are strategizing is not rocket science! Money is being lost for everyone involved, including us customers! So no thanks I’d rather drive all the way to Atlanta to eat than to ever come to this location again! Thanks for the experience glad we now know we are not welcomed! You guys will see a decrease in revenue soon if not corrected so good luck with tht...
