I placed an order online via the website. I was having issues with the website so I called asking for assistance. The employee informed me they could not assist me. I managed to complete my order online for 2 pizzas 1with extra toppings and the other with just pepperoni. I am pregnant so I picked up the pizzas and went straight home. When I got home I saw one of the pizzas was only cheese no pepperoni. I immediately called the location where I ordered my pizzas and informed them there was a mistake with one of my orders. The first person I talked with put me on hold, then the manager answered and asked for my name on the order. I explained that I ordered a pizza with lots of toppings and 1 with pepperoni not cheese. She immediately told me that I placed the order wrong and it was my problem. Trying to be peaceful I explained that I had issues with the website and it should have been a pepperoni pizza. The manager proceeded to tell me it was my fault that the order came thru as a cheese pizza and I would have to pay full price for another pizza. I asked her if she could have a little customer service and understand that there was a mistake when the order was placed. She continued to be rude and disregard what I was saying accusing me of being incompetent. Ive ordered many pizzas from this location and have never been treated so poorly. I was very disappointed at the lack of customer service or care for what had happened to my order. I asked if there was another manager I could talk with and she refused to allow me to talk to someone else. I never accused them of messing up my order I was simply trying to figure out what I needed to do to correct my order that was incorrectly sent online. Read moreThis was the absolute worst experience simply because of the extremely poor customer service and the shockingly unprofessional and condescending attitudes of both the team member whose name is Max and the manager on duty by the name of Shane. I placed my order at 8, the tracker said it would be here by 831, at 846 nothing. Called to get an ETA because I do not want cold pizza and the response received from Max was, "I don't know, I'm not the driver!"😲. After a few moments of me trying to look past this unprofessional behavior, Max decided to hang up while in mid conversation. First, Why is there conversation anyway instead of apologizing? Secondly, you hang up on the customer!!! After calling back and asking to speak with the manager, Shane is whom answers and provides the SAME disturbing poor customer service. The only thing Shane did was rushed and acted as though he just wanted to get me off the phone because I asked for a refund at this point. I don't know what ever happened to satisfying the customer or at least apologizing for any mishap, but this night shift at store 187 on Hwy 5 in Douglasville under the management of Shane is the WORST representation of the organization. Sad to say but this type of service is very common when customers pay over the phone with their credit cards, including the tip, versus paying cash at the door. I strongly recommend not providing this store with the luxury of your time and money because their service does not warrant it. I hope that after this review and after the complaint I just filed with Customer Service, this store REALLY gets their act together. Also never had a problem with Uber eats and I’ve been ordering with them for upwards of three years- Always in a timely fashion, very transparent throughout your order process, and if there is an issue, they will always refund you. My driver was also wonderful and offered to go collect the order after Papa John’s screwed it up. Basically, I receive a pizza that’s not mine and because I have things to do I ordered it on Uber eats his delivery. I couldn’t go collect my pizza in a timely fashion, as was never the plan. Once I get to the establishment after calling the manager and forcing him to explain to me where my pizza was, and if it was sent to another address like the pizza I received, or was still sitting at the restaurant, he begrudgingly let me know it was still at the restaurant. He originally told fiance we were SOL and to call the driver. After my plans which were going to take an unexpected amount of time, I head to Papa John’s at 10:30 in the evening to collect my food. I get there to a freezing cold pizza and “bites “that probably sat under the light from the beginning of my order.
