Food is always great but the service is AMAZING!!! Friendliest staff around. Back to the food...you have to give their Eggs Benedict a try. Last time I ordered with with a corn muffin in place of the English muffin and OMG I was in heaven. I can’t even describe how good the home made hash was. If you haven’t been to The Nook, you are truly missing out.

Another great breakfast from this Dover, NH staple. Eggs any way you want are cooked fresh without without having that greasy finish. My veggie scramble was delicious, which I had with a little pepper jack cheese. The homefries also didn't have any greasy aftertaste, just good plain potatoes cooked really well.

I finally found what I was looking for when I looked at the menu here. I found the holy grail of breakfast foods... SPAM! Cooked to perfection and combined with a healthy amount of everything else my search for the perfect breakfast combination is complete. Get the spam and eggs you will not be disappointed.

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ The Nook: Charming Ambiance, Disappointing Dish

Stepping into The Nook for the first time this morning was a delightful experience for the eyes! The Easter decorations created a truly charming and festive atmosphere – a very cute and welcoming space. Our server was an absolute standout. Her service was truly exceptional; she was incredibly kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Without a doubt, she is one of the best servers I have ever had, and her dedication to customer satisfaction is truly commendable. She deserves all the accolades! Unfortunately, the culinary experience did not quite match the wonderful ambiance and service. While the pancake was quite good, the country fried steak and eggs were a letdown. The steak was unfortunately very tough and chewy, and to my dismay, it was also undercooked, with visible pink throughout. My only minor critique regarding the service was that a coffee refill wasn't offered until I was presented with the check. While the server's exceptional service was a significant highlight, the undercooked and tough country fried steak was a considerable drawback. It's possible they were having an off day in the kitchen, but based on this experience, I wouldn't be inclined to return or recommend it at this time. It's a shame, as the restaurant itself has a...

The food was great. Customer service, I felt; however, could have used improvement. Per the menu, our meal came with two sides and my wife and I asked if we could have fresh fruit as one of them. The waitress said yes with no mention of an up charge for the fruit. When our check came, we found that we were charged full price for the two sides of fruit. There was no mention of an up charge which I contested with the waitress as I specifically mentioned that she had not mentioned or even implied there would be an up charge. I asked her to modify my bill which she agreed to. She came back with, what I expected to be a modified bill and simply said "I'm sorry". I looked at the bill and nothing had changed. I confronted she and who I thought was the manager and their reply was that there should have been an upcharge and that they would not change the bill. I suggested they inform customers of this fact when asking for a side that an upcharge will occur instead of just agreeing to it with no mention of additional cost. Needless to say, the upcharge...

The employees were very friendly, but I had a bad experience for a number of reasons. The home fries were under cooked and the potatoes were very hard. The coffee tasted strange, almost like the pot needed cleaning. It had a hint of mold/sharp alcohol taste like something fermented. The bacon was sitting in a pool of grease and wasn't crispy. The grilled bagel was grilled on one side and that side was very good, however the other side was not grilled so it was a mixure of eating a grilled and not cooked bagel. Most of the food tasted like the ocean. I can almost describe it like someone used too much sea salt mixed with something else I can't describe. I hate to hammer on a local business, but I think more training for the cook would make it better. I really liked Weeks restaurant so this all came as a disappointment for me, especially as the prices are...
