Edited: below is my review from 5 months ago. I went here when I had family visiting this past weekend. It was a night and day difference. Food was amazing and fresh. My old fashion was on point.

We have been to the brick house on multiple occasions. It had been a while since we have been back. Our server was amazing, don't remember her name, had glasses, darker hair with some different colors.

Let's talk food, before on our last visit the food was awesome. No complaints. Had a variety of different foods, mostly apps for snacking while enjoying drinks with family. The wings I had were amazing. When we arrived tonight, I saw some changes with the menu had been made which is fine. We got told by our amazing server that they changed chefs a few months ago. We'll I hate to say it, the food is not as good. Brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly but smothered in too much "stuff". Wings where breaded unlike the last time the dry rubs we got just didn't have good balanced flavor, the maple siracha barely had flavor. The cracked dust had more heat then flavor. Mozzarella bites where really good, marinara looks a bit suspect but was good. Pretzel bites are good but not as good as the pretzels...

So one of my family members is in the hospital and we all went in for brunch while we weren't allowed in the room. It took our server 15min to visit us as she kept walking past and ignoring us. We were at table t9 right next to the kitchen. She didn't give us her name and then all of our food was overcooked. I'm a server so I understand that part was in no way her fault. My tab was $65 and I gave her 80. We were right next to a pos. I told her to keep the change. She then comes back to the table and says I only gave her 60 and I still owed her money. I don't know what happened to the money but I was highly dis satisfied when I heard this information. Like I said I'm a server too like you aren't supposed to loose money. She then proceeded to argue with me which then I threw another 20 on the table and remained silent. I was not happy at all. I've been serving for 8yrs and not once have I LOST a customers money. Unfortunately I will not be returning just to be jipped out of the money i made the night before where I didn't get home until 230 in the morning and then was at the hospital for 7am.
