My friend and I went here for breakfast on a late Sunday morning. It was fairly busy and there was only 2 waitress, but I thought they handled the heavy work load impressively. Warning though because it's rather short staffed you might have to stand and wait awhile before you are seated. We we're seated close to the door and it was slightly uncomfortable to have people standing so close while you are trying to eat and have a conversation. As far as the food goes this was the first time we had been here and I'm not going to lie we raised our eyebrows a little at the prices. The general ambiance and decor is nice but not fancy, not a greasy spoon by any means but not fine dining either. So we were a little surprised that a omelette could be upwords of $15.99 or that the 2 egg, meat, hash browns and toast would be $11.99. where many other places you could the same thing for $7 or so. Not having either of these things I can't report the portion size so maybe they're worth the price? My friend and I both had the eggs Benedict with sausage her's on an English muffin, mine on a homemade biscuit. It did take about a half hour or so to get our food but we weren't surprised because of how busy it was. We we're suprised again that home fries don't come with the Benedicts like any other breakfast place I had ever been to had. The food when it arrived was hot and looked very appatising. It also tasted great the hollandaise being one of the best I've ever had with a seasoning I can't quite put my finger on but was very good. The grilled home fries were also delicious and cooked well with a nice savory seasoning on them. We both enjoyed them and we were only able to finish half and had to take home the rest. Our waitress was pleasant and officiant. We noticed a couple of glass dishes on the hostess station when we first came in one with muffins, one with something called maple heakla. Which neither of us had ever heard of. It looks something between a muffin and a flaky pastry. We decided to get two to go as well. So with that, two Pepsi's, two Benedicts and two orders of hash browns our bill came to $54 and some change before tip. While everything that we had was good I'm not sure if spending $60+ for two people for breakfast is something I would do again...
Read moreHorrible! I ordered the Corned beef hash breakfast ($13.99), but what I got looked more like burned and flattened bark mulch with two okay looking over easy eggs. When I told the server that it looked greasy and didn’t appeal to me, she wasn’t happy but took the meal away. She returned with the meal and asked if I’d like to take it home in a box. Of course not. It was not a breakfast that I would give anyone. I didn’t order anything else because I felt it would take too long. When my friend finished eating, we both received bills. I was supposed to pay for this meal that was far from the quality I’d gotten there in the past. I asked to speak to the manager. She was horribly rude. She asked me if I knew what corned beef hash was. Of course I do, but I’ve never seen it look like bark mulch, in my entire life. I told her my concerns. She reluctantly allowed me to leave without paying. However, she told me to never show my face in her restaurant again. I am banned from that establishment, forever! If I were you, I’d stay away. The quality has suffered with the new ownership, and the staff doesn’t have a grasp of good standards for customer service. Check out the beautiful picture of the corned beef hash with eggs that’s on their Facebook page. Does that look like flattened and burned bark mulch? No! It doesn’t. I sure wish I...
Read moreWas poorly greeted because I went into the wrong door. I felt like I was the biggest piece of s* by how this woman greeted me. “I’m sorry, can we help you with something”? I mentioned my name and she replies “you need to use the other door next time.” I immediately just grabbed my order and left saying “sorry, I have never been here before” and she replies “well now you know”. Maybe lock the door that shouldn’t be used so patrons don’t have to be verbally harassed for using it, even if it’s only a few feet difference 🤦🏻♀️🙄😂👌🏻
Just because there was a “sign” doesn’t disregard the fact that your employee was rude. Clearly I didn’t see a sign as I was in a hurry and went to what appears a main entrance considering THE ENTIRE LOGO IS ABOVE THE DOOR looking NOTHING like an “employee entrance”. There is also a thing we call respect where I like to come from. There was a better way to rephrase her statement and certainly another tone. How about “hey how can I help you today?” “Also, just letting you know for future reference, our main door is the other entrance to the right. I hope you have a nice day.” . . . A simple smile and a kind genuine tone would have been a lot more pleasant. Having worked in the service industry for 8 years and even managed a restaurant, I would highly suggest some...
