Food is fresh and tasty, usually it's very busy at lunch time and the lady is always pretty nice even with the rush. However, today me and my sister came in to grab some subs for the family in the evening at about 5pm. The lady who is usually there wasn't there and it was a younger blonde girl. She seemed very irritated and angry, nobody was even there, she gave an attitude to my sister regarding the ingredients on the subs she ordered. It was my sisters 1st time there so she was trying to look at menu and get her ingredients right, but the lady seemed very snotty to us. She then was cursing and talking to the chef as if she may have had some personal stuff going on and that's why she was upset. Nothing to do with us but rather maybe she had a long day. I would definitely give her a talking to though as that behavior can ruin their reputation for being the friendly neighborhood sandwich shop. Other than that the...
Read moreI really don't know what happened to this place. We used to come here all the time for great sub sandwiches. Recently, that was definitely not the case. When walking in, it appeared as if Miss Personality was quite perturbed that we dared to even bother her. Perhaps she was just in a hurry to leave. We ordered a couple of regular sub sandwiches, and when our food came, there was Hardly Anything In It!!! Just a complete joke! Maybe 2 slices of meat, and hardly any lettuce or tomato!!! It was the equivalent of a Bread Sandwich! And speaking of bread, even the bread was awful! It was a cross between shoe leather and a rubber band! Not even edible, and more than your teeth and jaw could even handle!!! Personally, I really don't understand the great reviews here... Between Miss Personality's service, the bad bread, lack of anything on the sandwich, And the High Prices, I would have to say, Forget...
Read moreMy husband and I have been passing this place for a year and finally tried it today. We got two Italian subs, $10 each. We took them home and prepared to eat. Unwrapped the sandwiches and the astonishingly shocking lack of ingredients made a mockery of the term “sandwich”. Stale bread with no body or substance to it so it wasn’t Gonnella or Turano, and the THINNEST slices of meat I have ever seen (and barely any meat at that). I could actually read through the slice of cheese. Barely any dressing, lettuce and tomato, and no other garnish at all. We felt thoroughly ripped off. I hate leaving bad reviews but I had to in this case. The owners should be ashamed. I’d give this place zero stars if I could. Go to Peppo’s and get a REAL sub. Berto’s,...
