Panda Express — Restaurant in Downey

On Sunday afternoon, the line was very long. A young girl came out with a tablet and a credit card reader to get preorders and prepay to speed the process along. The half dozen or so customers waited near the register for our orders. Pretty soon, customers behind us that didn't preorder were just walking thru and getting their food before us. Finally, the manager came and took our receipts and started to fill our orders. He came back and put the food at the register and said "47". I said I'm 47. I asked why people behind us got their food before us? He just said "printer broke" and walked away. Then the cashier asked, "Show me your receipt!" I told her that the manager took it and it's in her hand! She finally handed me my food and I asked her if they put in dipping sauce for the spring rolls? She snidely responded, "You didn't order any!" It took me 25 minutes to get a take-out order. No one said "We're sorry it took so long," nothing! No free drink or free meal, nothing! Not a word. This was the worst and most frustrating experience I've had at...

This should be zero stars. I ordered a two item plate and a cup for water. The water I got from their fountain drink machine was contaminated with some black flakes. I showed the Panda Express female manager the dirty water and asked if I could get a fountain drink instead since the water was contaminated; the manager said, "we are not responsible for the water." The water that I got at Panda was not Panda's, according to the manager. She said she would have to charge me if I wanted a different drink. I couldn't believe that for the dirty water and inconvenience, she didn't allow me to get a different drink. I asked for my money back for the food and left. After reading some real reviews, I'm sure this Panda Express owner doesn't care. As for the 4 and 5 star reviews, they are fake, or those people don't know what good food and service are. I will not be returning, and I suggested everyone check the drinks before drinking at this Panda Express...

Friendly and nice employees as usual, tonight they did have this customer and her +1 who kept complaining about servings (which where proportional btw) while asking for the server's to PICK out and add more of walnuts, chili's, spices etc. To add to her serving. The employee was extremely professional while letting the "unsatisfied" customer know those are regular servings, but if she wanted more she can add a side to her order, the customer kept repeating the same question followed by a "this is ridiculous" but the employee kept her cool and insisted if she was dissatisfied she can always add a side to her order. Awesome response to a couple of customers who wanted more for less while thinking they can get away with it by being rude and calling the establishment things I don't want to post here.
