Dunkin' — Restaurant in Downey

We came in at around 11:40 a.m. I needed to use the restroom . It had no paper towels. We went to order, but the commercials say 2 sandwhiches for 6.00 dollars but we had to buy 2 coffees to be able to buy it at 6.00!! So we order. We waited then they called our number . My boyfriend went to get the order, and waited and waited! I went to see why he was still waiting! The young lady that was cooking came over and I asked why he was still waiting! She said what else do you need! They had only given him the 2 coffees and hadn't given him the sandwiches! So I told her we were waiting for the sandwiches. I was upset that she didn't know we were still waiting for our sandwhiches! I raised my voice in disbelief! She answered and said she had to cook it!! So we waited more. Then she finished cooking them and put them in a bag and threw the bag on the counter without speaking to us even though we were right there!! She was very rude and is a negative example for Dunkin Donuts!!! I tried to speak to her but she just waved her hand at us and smiled! I get it she was upset because I rose my voice but her actions are a very rude and I believe she should have retraining on how to interact with customers!! She cooked very well. Service was horrible. Walked in and there was no one in line but we decided to order via the kiosk. We ordered 2 drinks and 10 count munchkins. We frequent DD at another location and we know that you can’t choose the flavor until the employee is ready to bag them and will ask us what flavor. So we waited and waited and noticed that they were fulfilling the drive through customers as they arrived. Almost 30 minutes later we called to one of the girls and she ignored us. We called again and she came over and we asked about our order. She said that she was helping out the girl working the drive through and that she would get to our order. We finally got our 2 drinks. She then walked away and began to fill a bag with munchkins without asking which ones we wanted. We tried calling to her but again she ignored us. She returned and threw the bag on the counter. I then asked her what was in the bag and she said assorted munchkins. I then told her that I wanted pumpkin. She replied “well, the screen said assorted”. I then explained that the kiosk doesn’t allow for selecting which flavor of munchkins one wants. She replied that there was. I then asked if she could show me and she replied “no, I’m busy right now so have a nice day”. She then walked away. She was very rude and unprofessional. Great customer service! It was my first time here and I was glad to find out the hype and crowds finally died down. There was no wait when I came in the morning. They were out of the coconut donut so I was pretty stumped on what else I should get. My coworker got me the coconut one before and it was delicious!!!

The lady who took my order was very helpful and even offered me a free sample AND a discount since it was my first time. ^_^ Now on to the food...

What I Ordered Sausage Wake Up Wrap with Hashbrowns Frozen French Vanilla Coffee Coolata Butter Nut Donut

The Sausage Wake Up Wrap was okay... sausage, egg, and cheese wrapped up in a tortilla. The sausage tasted just like Mc Donald's!!! THE HASHBROWNS ARE TO DIE FOR. I would come back JUST for them. :)

The Frozen French Vanilla Coffee Coolata was good but EXTREMELY SWEET!!! It gave me a huge headache after a few sips... I had to water it down. My coworker loved it and finished hers lol. Not sure if mine was just made wrong but, I would ask for half sweet next time... or just a different flavor in general. The Butter Nut Donut was okay. A little too sweet if you ate the whole thing. Overall, great service!!! I will be back to try...
