2 stars because at least I got the credit they promised me. Had placed an order in April for a cake but canceled due to a death, no cash refunds only store credit. Now I had to find something to use it for. Had a baby shower in October finally got the chance to use it. Just wanted to use all of it on cupcakes, got 40 cupcakes for $135. whatever, fine. Half chocolate, half vanilla. Sent them a picture of the theme, was hoping they would work their creative magic with the colors. They asked me if I wanted to put an edible picture of the theme on the cupcakes I said sure why not. Was expecting a cupcake style cupcake with frosting on top like normal. LOL nope! Went to pick up the order, they were trying to give me the cupcakes dry no frosting only the edible design placed on top. I couldn’t believe the lack of creativity, I had to ask them to put frosting on the cupcakes. They sent them back with all white frosting instead of the colors of the theme on the picture I sent them. Didn’t have time to deal with it. I couldn’t believe it lol needless to say I was disappointed with the order but slightly blame myself for not being more specific. Oh well. Thanks for letting me use the $135 I paid you even though I felt pressured to use it ASAP. Also the edible picture didn’t taste very good.

In response to the owners comments: Firstly I’d like to clarify that the death that I am referring to was not last year it was April of this year 2021. I have the receipt and the text messages. And secondly as I mentioned I said it was partly my blame for not being more specific, however you as a professional should communicate more and pull information so that you can offer the best service that you can in my opinion. If you knew the butter cream was better then you should have offered that option to me. Instead of taking things personal and getting offended over peoples experiences with your business maybe you should take them into consideration and do better so that you’re business is getting better and higher reviews. Seeing how this pandemic is getting worst by the minute, these people careless for their clients. They are baking these cakes without a mask and serving them to their clients. These people have clients that have been vaccinated as well as clients that have not gotten vaccinated. Regardless, if they are “fully vaccinated” they should still wear a mask like cdc guideline require. So unsafe to consume from these people. I just pick up a cake a saw how careless they where. I had to ask for a refund because of their irresponsible way of serving their clients. I even had to pull up the cdc guidelines for the owner to read and go over, because he kept saying that it was ok by the cdc to work without a mask as long they where vaccinated. People are not going to go into public places asking for proof of vaccination before consuming their product. We as consumers are trusting that they’re are following regulation. By now the world should already know that being vaccinated doesn’t stop the spread. I guess they don’t mine having in their conscience the death of a human being. So sad. So my cake was gorgeous. It was exactly what i asked for. It was just perfect. I even messaged to thank them and let them know just how beautiful it was, but We hadn’t cut and ate any yet. My daughter didn’t want to share that cake because she had another she shared at the party. We got home late so next day we cut the cake passed it out amongst family and not one of us wanted another bite. The cake was hard and some parts rubbery. So disappointed! Things are getting very expensive and with that everyone is looking for quality. I didn't want to be the bad guy but neither of us thought the cake was any good. We took image off and tossed it in the trash. Tip: Although we want a gorgeous cake to show off, We equally want a good cake. Please focus on making the cake taste better.
