A Tough Review to Write, But It Has to Be Said

I’ve been coming to Annie’s for over 20 years, ever since I was a kid growing up just a short walk away. This place was a staple of my summers, and I’ve always remembered it for its rich, creamy soft serve and refreshing, flavorful water ice.

I finally made it back after a while, and unfortunately, something has changed, and not for the better. The soft serve now tastes like it’s been cut with cheaper ingredients. It’s icier and less creamy and reminded me more of fast food soft serve than the Annie’s I knew. The water ice was worse! It was practically flavorless and just felt like chipped ice with food coloring. Plus, the prices have gone up dramatically, accompanying this decrease in quality.

It pains me to write this, especially with all the fond memories I have tied to this place. If you’re someone who’s loved Annie’s in the past, I’d honestly advise holding onto those memories instead of risking the...

I was so excited when I pulled up. Mom and pop water ice spots are usually the best. Full of flavor and great prices. And this place was voted Best in bucks....wow it must have been a taste tester with no sense of taste. The only good thing about this place was no line and price. But no line should have been my first clue to leave but I figured it was 7pm maybe everyone is home in bed (seriously cause this whole town closes at 8pm LITERALLY). No taste whatsoever. And I got a qt of a couple different ones. They all tasted like those old nasty lick em aid freeze pops but worse. It was like eating spoiled frozen water if there was a thing. Well, the girls that work at Annie’s are amazing. Ice cream great! And water ice fantastic. However Every time I go my experience is ruined by the manager/boss JANET!!!! I’ve had many of times when Janet had been rude and made me not want to give them my business. Just recently she slammed the window shut on my face while I was trying to ask the nice young lady a question. “Pls don’t bother her, she is working” - Janet. Who ever hired Janet may want to rethink there decision. The ice is 5/5 stars...
