I wouldn't normally write a review after walking 12 hours at Disneyworld at 10pm but due this restaurant managers lack of respect and dignity on the phone I am compelled to write this, while I am waiting for a new order of food delivered from DoorDash 2 hours after the time I initially ordered.
I called BJs directly to ask about how to make sure I get the right food because as you can see from the photo anyone packaging the food and looking at it would see that the order is wrong. It says on the clear lid "Tri (Tri-tip steak) Chicken Combo" and lists asparagus. As anyone with two eyes and even poor vision could easily see, there is pork ribs and french fries in the box.
Vanessa Bogdanov came to the phone after I waited 12 minutes on hold and after the line either hung up or they forgot about me because it clicked while on hold and then started ringing again.
I started to explain to Vanessa that I was looking to understand how I can make sure I get the right food and she cut me off and said that I needed to get a refund from Door Dash because once the food leaves the store they can't do anything about it but that if I wanted a refund I had to go through them. I tried to continue to explain that I'm not asking about a refund (BECAUSE IM NOT AN IDIOT AND KNOW HOW TO RESOLVE A WRONG ORDER THROUGH A THIRD PARTY VANESSA) and she cut me off again yelling: "IM NOT FINISHED, YOU DIDNT LET ME FINISH" and continues to tell me she is going to send me a $25 gift card and asked for my email, shown in picture. To which I said thank you goodbye because she did not care to listen to WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS VANESSA. I'm still hungry and cant eat what I waited an hour to receive. Why on Gods green earth would I go back to a business who's management couldn't help me understand how my problem (THEY CREATED) would be solved, a business in the SERVICE FOOD industry that has a problem with SERVING customers with the RIGHT FOOD?
This is the worst problem resolution response I have ever received from a business manager. If I wasn't from out of town and 30 minutes away and it wasn't 10:22pm, I would drive to this business now or in the morning and ask to speak to a General Manager.
I don't need a gift card, I just wanted someone to tell me they are going to make sure my food would not be wrong a second time and be apologetic instead of acting like I was the problem.
Hopefully Vanessa knows how to service customers that don't have problems but maybe take a class on how to not flip out WHEN YOUR BUSINESS MADE A MISTAKE instead of lashing out on a paying customer. If BJs management records any calls I hope they hear how disrespectful this manager was and send her to a tolerance class or...

Read moreWe visited this restaurant in Lake Buena Vista on February 7th around 10:30 PM as a group of three. Our server, Madison, took our orders. From the start, I sensed some tension between her and my friend for no apparent reason. When my friend asked if she could have tea—since it had been a long, exhausting day and she wanted a hot drink—she was told it wasn’t available, so she settled for water.
Throughout the evening, my interactions with Madison remained cordial. However, my friend ordered a soup with a side of sweet potato fries, and the fries were brought out alone, without the rest of her meal, even though she had requested everything together. From that point on, Madison completely ignored my friend, and we had no idea why.
When it was time to pay, we asked if we could split the bill three ways. Madison did so but mistakenly added my dessert to my friend’s check. When my friend politely pointed this out, Madison was visibly irritated, cut her off mid-sentence, and abruptly handed us revised bills without any courtesy.
Unfortunately, this behavior negatively impacted our experience. We don’t believe we were ever disrespectful to her, yet we felt unwelcome. Coming from France but frequently visiting this restaurant, this is the second time we’ve encountered unprofessional service here.
For these reasons, I’m giving 2 stars. The food is good, but the service needs improvement. Servers shouldn’t be surprised if they receive the bare minimum in tips when they provide this...
