How about -16 stars. The building and venues, once you find them are very nice, it’s the finding that is an issue. After the first mile and a half walk from parking, another horrible experience and getting into the building, the signage is every 1/4 mile inside. The maze of drives and drop off pick up, shuttle, uber is interesting and might have been well designed except most are barricaded, as are miscellaneous lanes approaching the building. There are no attendees at the info desks. Overall, any positive experience watching granddaughter play is overshadowed by the city of Orlando’s horrible execution of a seemingly good plan. City counsel and mayor need to take a week or a couple of long weekends, pick up strangers coming to the convention center. Tell them you need them to direct you, first to the center, then parking, find the building they need to be in, then have them guide you to the venue. Every time I come here the experience is always horrible. I will definitely not come back next year for the IAAPA expo. Long lines to get into parking, have to pay overpriced parking fee and there is no parking space! How can they keep taking people money when they already run out of parking! There is no one directing traffic and no signs anywhere, took almost an hour just to find a spot super far and had to walk like 2 miles to get inside. Then all the food is even worse and more expensive than airport prices. There are few staff around to answer questions. Love all the food options that they have on site, but it’s the same thing all around the entire building and not a lot of healthy options. protein shakes that show a protein options didn’t have any protein all weekend long. We ended up door dashing healthy food to the Uber pickup spot.
