We were staying out on International Drive for the weekend to attend a friend's Christmas party. On Sunday morning, we decided we wanted to go out to Breakfast. We were obviously presented with a myriad of choices of where to eat breakfast. The group consensus was to value economy above all else. I'm a self proclaimed "Foodie", I usually prefer more Upscale food and service that includes a Upscale price tag. The restaurant I suggested was deemed "too expensive", so I was overruled and begrudgingly went with the group to the IHOP, that was walking distance from the hotel. Upon arrival, we could instantly tell they were obviously very busy for 10:00am on a Sunday morning. We had a party of six and we were seated quickly. That's the best thing I could say about this experience going forward. The horrendous experience began when we were left waiting in our booth for about 15-18 minutes, before any servers acknowledged our existence. The table was very wet and extremely sticky with syrup residue. There was previously used flatware still remaining on the table. The experience was not starting out well, to say the least. When a server finally arrived, she was the most unprofessional, pushy, impatient, loud, rude person that I have encountered in all my years of dining out. She spoke broken English with a thick Spanish accent. We could hardly understand what she saying. She didn't speak to us, she shouted at us. She was startling loud, given the energetic atmosphere of the dining room. She only shouted quick insensible questions about the food and the menu items. She asked several times if we wanted coffee, and we told her each time "No!" She kept asking "YOU WANT COFFEE?", we finally gave up. She attempted to take everyone's order in the best way she could. None of us are bilingual and you could definitely tell that there was a obvious language barrier. When we finished ordering, she asked "ONE CHECK?" We told her we wanted separate checks. Her rude reply was "EACH? FOR EVERYONE?" I had enough at this point and replied "Yes, Separate checks. You got a problem with that?". There was no response, she rolled her eyes and left the table. When the drinks arrived the nightmare continued, everything was incorrect. She obviously didn't understand what we were ordering, except for her one constant question "YOU WANT COFFEE?". The food arrived shortly afterwards and once again, everything was incorrect and missing items. I never received my crepes I ordered until halfway through the meal. My friends were almost finished with their meals, when my crepes finally arrived. The server tried to be funny by saying "YOU USUALLY ONLY GET ONE. YOU GOT TWO. YOU VERY LUCKY". I was totally over it at this point and all I could manage was a weak, insincere smile as a reply. After the meal had ended, and the checks had arrived, this server hovered at the table, watching like a hawk, for each diner to present their payment. I tipped 15% gratuity on the $17.99 total, which I think was very generous of me, considering the horrendous experience and subpar service. Long story short, if you're looking for breakfast on International Drive, on a busy Sunday morning, avoid this IHOP location. Thank me later. Merry Christmas...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Incredible IHOP Experience Near Rosen Inn International!

If you’re in Orlando and near the Rosen Inn International, you absolutely need to stop by this IHOP location! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and could tell we were in for a special experience. But what truly set this visit apart was one outstanding team member: Crystal. She is, hands down, the heart and soul of this IHOP, and her energy and dedication made our meal unforgettable.

Crystal went above and beyond every expectation. Right from the start, her warm smile and welcoming attitude made us feel like family, and she truly transformed our breakfast into something memorable. She has a remarkable attention to detail, checking in to ensure everything was perfect, refilling drinks before we even had to ask, and making sure we were comfortable every step of the way. Crystal has that special knack for making every guest feel like her top priority, and it’s clear that she takes pride in making each dining experience truly exceptional.

The food was incredible! The pancakes were light, fluffy, and just the right amount of golden, the eggs were cooked to perfection, and the hash browns had the perfect crispness that made every bite a delight. Every dish arrived hot and freshly made, and you could tell that the kitchen staff put their all into making sure each plate was just right. The variety on the menu allowed us to try a bit of everything, and every single dish was delicious and well-prepared. It’s hard to beat a classic IHOP breakfast, and this location completely exceeded our expectations.

The prices were more than reasonable, especially given the high quality of both the food and service. You simply won’t find better value in the area. Every dollar felt well-spent, and we left feeling like we got an amazing deal for the experience we enjoyed.

And while the food was fantastic, it’s truly the team at this IHOP that makes it so special. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and seemed genuinely happy to be there, which is something you don’t see every day. But Crystal deserves the biggest shoutout of all. Her energy, attention to detail, and passion for providing a top-notch experience make her an absolute gem. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome, remembered our names, and shared a laugh or two that made the morning even brighter. Her exceptional service is something you don’t forget.

IHOP near Rosen Inn International has set the bar so high that it’s now our go-to breakfast spot whenever we’re in the area. We can’t wait to come back and experience Crystal’s fantastic hospitality and enjoy another outstanding meal. If every IHOP had a team and a standout like Crystal, it would easily be the most popular breakfast spot worldwide. Thank you, Crystal, and the entire IHOP team, for an absolutely perfect breakfast, and...

To begin with our Waitress name was Loubna.

iHop and Dennys on a Sunday morning it is expected for the wait to be longer than usual. My son ordered a milkshake, and my partner and I ordered coffee. Although it was very busy my son’s milkshake took 40 mins to get done. Our food was brought to us, we were almost done and the milkshake was still nowhere to be seen, even though I asked the waiter how much longer she kept saying it’s coming. After his milkshake came we asked for the check since we were pretty much done eating, Loubna brought out check and said please circle one of the tips options shown in the receipt you cannot tip any other amount. Our service with her wasn’t the best, but I will tip, I just didn’t think she deserved 18% or 20% and I rounded my tip to be $60 leaving her a tip of like $6 and some change. Also, why are you asking me to circle a tip option if after I get charge I will have the option to either leave more or less than the RECOMMENDED options. She brought back my card and my receipt where we usually put the tip, and we made it $60 flat, she said you told me 18% I put in computer 18%, mind you the discussion about the tip happened with me not my partner. She is forcing people to tip 18% or 20%. I understand the tipping culture but at the end of the day you need to earn it, and like I said I tip for the service I get, and 11% is what I thought she deserved specially after feeling entitled to pick her own tip. She is pretty much scamming people, and if the manager of this place doesn’t do anything, they will end up getting a lawsuit because she is adding more tip in the system than the customers have agreed on. I took a photo of my receipt of what I left and I hope I do not see anything more reflected on my statement. She needs to be retrained. Not coming back...

After getting shuffled out of the “world’s biggest McDonald’s” like a trespasser in a food museum, I wandered down International Drive — tired, hungry, and a little jaded. That’s when I spotted IHOP, glowing like a beacon of hope in the neon jungle. The moment I walked in, I was greeted like a regular, even though it was past 2AM. The hostess smiled, the place smelled like warm syrup and coffee, and within five minutes I had a steaming plate of pancakes and crispy bacon in front of me. No kiosks. No barricades. Just genuine, human hospitality. The server checked in just enough to be helpful but not pushy, and the food — simple as it was — tasted like the most honest meal I’d had all night. Unlimited coffee refills, the option to linger and breathe, charging outlets at the booth… It felt like IHOP never forgot why people go out to eat in the first place. Highlights: ✅ 24/7 real service, no drama. ✅ Comfort food actually served with comfort. ✅ Friendly staff who treat you like a person, not a problem. ✅ Booths, outlets, music at the right volume — even past midnight. ✅ Perfect for locals, travelers, or late-night thinkers. If McDonald's was once a carnival, IHOP is a sanctuary. Not flashy, not overhyped — just reliable, warm, and deeply satisfying. Pro tip: Get the split plate with pancakes and omelette. Sit by the window. Watch the night settle.

I went for dinner (and ate breakfast) my 4yr old daughter and I. Very disappointed in my visit. The interior is dark and dirty and run down. Our server was the only one for the only section of the restaurant they had open. We waited over 15 minutes for drinks and the server as well as what appeared to be an owner/operated based on his casual attire took the drink order multiple times only for the server to inform me they were out of diet soda. I switched to a water. They also didnt have a watermelon feature drink available for my daughter or their signature blue lemonade. The food came out and my daughter's cupcake pancake with sweet cream topping and sprinkles tasted spoiled and she never got her apple sauce. She refused to eat it and the server was never to be seen again. I gave my daughter my plate the 2x2x2 and the boxed scrambled eggs tasted cold and old. She ate the pancake and bacon. We received our check, soda and premium lemonade charges included, and left my pockets $35 emptier and nothing but my daughter's stomach having some food. Im hard pressed to pay $35 dollars for a kids breakfast and a basic adult breakfast, let alone with service and atmosphere like that. If you want to charge corporate pricing for food then you need to live up to their s.o.p.'s for cleanliness and service please.

15 minutes to wait for a server to attend to you. 5 minutes more to take your order. 45 minute for your order to arrive. No metal utensils. You were given plastic utensils 'to go' to eat at your table. No cups for your beverages. You were given 'to go' cups. Out of date store. Old signage not removed from tables. Floors were not picked up debris. Servers will see a used plastic cleaning glove on the floor and push it to the side. The workers don't even bother to pick it up to make the appearance of the restaurant more appealing. The entrance/exit to restaurant is the smoking area and it's nasty to walk into. Servers, Carlos and Omega, were always in a chipper mood and laughed which made the hour wait time at least pleasant due to their attitudes. Gratuity is not given to you to add after the receiptis printed. You tell the server what percentage you want and they add it for you. Note: if you said 20% tip and it's noted on the receipt as $10.27, the server will make it $11.00. That's not 20%! That's not very professional. In the end, the food was good and warm, and when you get your receipt, the souvenir store across the parking lot will give you a small gift, i.e. magnet, hat, etc.
