We have only 2 weeks to find apartment, and luckily we found Fusion. Fusion staff is really helpful and friendly. They take care of us so well and we're thankful for that. Thank you, Natasha and Mingana.
August 2021 Update We are living here for about 1 year now. Here are couple positive and negative feedbacks: Positive Quick response. I would say all the staff is really friendly, helpful, and proactive in responding to issues. It's hard to find that elsewhere. The length of renting fits what we are looking for. Most other places require at least 7 months rent. We are the travelers and we don't stay in one place for more than 1 year. So Fusion Orlando is really the best for us. Furnished apartment. I think this is the best feature. Like I mentioned, we are travelers and we don't have furniture with us. This place already provides furniture that we can just move in without buying anything. Pricing is okay. I mean it's expensive in comparison with other apartment complexes especially with the space of the unit. However, when we take account for all points above, it makes sense to us. So pricing wise is okay. Inside the unit: everything works okay besides A/C Amenities: swimming pool, hot tub are decent enough. Gym was just opened after the covid-19. Negative The INTERNET!!!!! OMG. This is the worst I can imagine. Fusion has 2 different types of wifi. One is free and one is premium which we need to pay. However, even the premium is super slow. Free wifi is around 4-5 Mpbs. And the premium is 11-15 Mpbs. This speed really is for like weekdays morning when no one is at home. At nights and weekends, free is around 2-3 Mpbs and premium is around 6-7 Mpbs. I know they warn us about it already. However, this is something out of what I can imagine. Working with this internet is hard already (calling, coding, offices stuff only). I'm not even talking about entertainment like streaming movies. The INTERNET!!! One more time. Even if you don't want to use the provided internet from the complex, you have no other choices besides using phone hotspot. I called different internet providers, but only AT&T can offer this location. AT&T said that even though technically they can offer 20 Mpbs, but after all wiring, the speed you actually can use is 2-3 Mpbs. So you have to live with the super slow internet and it barely works. It drops all the time and takes hours to get back up. A/C in the unit has a lot problems. I have to call maintenance all the time. Some buildings are really in poor condition. We used to live in building 11 and our unit got flooded for a week and they didn't know why. We had to buy vacuum to suck the water in and dump it outside. It was a horrible month for us. Eventually they moved us to a new unit. Security. Please make sure you have more cameras around the complex to watch out for bad people. A lot people just drove in the parking and smoked and slept here on the parking spots. We do our the best to report those cases, but make sure we don't need to do that more often. Police cars stop here once a while. Pretty often, but I guess that's good? Delivery like Amazon. Do not ask Amazon deliver anything here on weekends. I got my stuff stolen all the time and Amazon delivery will just never deliver if they can't find your unit.
Overall, I would like to thank you all the staff who works so hard to make sure we are living and enjoying...
Read moreI stayed in fusion for almost a year. I rented the studio with a washer and dryer. My unit was all the way in the back corner on the first floor (which was nice, since there are outside entrances and stairs to the second floor units,). They have a somewhat decent pool, no hot tub, but is only open during business hours M-F 9AM-5PM. So you can't enjoy it on the weekend, or when you get out of work, or the kids out of school. Their gym is so small, they might as well not have one. They have a laundry room with industrial size machines, and industrial size prices. Fusion appealed to me because they allow short term leases and the units are furnished. However, the shorter your lease, the higher your rent and deposit will be. They have studios, which are WAY too small for even two people, and "two-bedrooms", which are actually really cool. On the first floor, there is the living room, tv, washer and dryer, kitchen, and a bedroom with two full/queen beds and a nice size closet. Oddly, though, there are french doors that close the bedroom off, and you can see through them when their closed so there is virtually no privacy. There are indoor stairs that lead to a loft, which is actually the second bedroom. There is a king bed, small closet, and full bath. But again, there is no door to the bedroom, just a railing, so you can see the bed from the first floor at all times. Regardless, it is way nicer and slightly bigger than the studio, but that comes with a hefty price tag of at least $1800/month. No covered or assigned parking, no security gate, you just park wherever and hope there are spots. I left because, as I said, we were on the bottom floor. There was a massive leak coming from the apartment above us. If we were to shower, the ceiling could, and would, have caved in. There was water damage in the kitchen, on the floor, countertops, even our personal items were getting ruined. Of course, we called emergency maintenance, then regular maintenance, then the front desk over and over. We had to stay in the Comfort Inn next door for 3 weeks, waiting for someone to become available to just LOOK at the problem, let alone fix it. Since we were paying ridiculously high rent for a studio AND a hotel room nightly, we felt like management should just switch our unit and then they could fix the problem on their own time, and their own dollar. They told us we would have to pay a $500 fee to switch units. But still, no one would look at the serious, (and becoming more serious,) problem that was growing in our apartment. We ended up moving out and breaking the lease because we were wasting our money anyway. I've attached pictures of some of the damage that was happening in our unit. Although the complex is located in a prime location (for some, unless you're not a fan of traffic or tourism,) the management was horrible and the prices were a rip off. There are better complexes around...
Read moreI've lived at fusion for 6 months and am only leaving to reunite with family. The location is perfect for anyone working the parks, or businesses anywhere along sand Lake Road. Easy access to all major highways but what a review can't share is feelings. I feel safe as a professional woman alone in Orlando. I know there are people looking out for me if I were to need help. I've made a few dear friends during my stay here, and there is a strong sense of community living here. While most everything is done through their resident portal, email addresses are shared for immediate contact, and calling or walking in is just fine. What I've not experienced before and did here was walking in to a leasing office and everyone knows my name. I'm greeted and any inquiries I've had are immediately answered. Maintenance- request in the morning it's done when you return. They will never enter your home without your explicit authorization. Tickets are handled immediately, even the silly ones like "please help I had a lizard follow me in" I've never had a major maintenance issue but they are here they are responsive and always kind. My apartment became my oasis. They supply many of your daily essentials, all you need is shower curtains, linens and food.. the pool is wonderful. Big screen with comfy couches for an outside family day but also a quiet place to relax. My bed was shockingly comfortable!! Pillow- top mattress that felt almost new. The couches are worn but so am I. I would rather a comfy couch than one I couldn't sit on. Now for the team at fusion. My gratitude for them is immense. Dave, the property manager cares about his community. I saw him daily doing things from lending an ear to a tired older resident to picking up trash outside of the landscape. I found him to be incredibly professional, kind and understanding. Natasha helped me with my lease, my tears when I missed home, my unreasonable requests and ones that were important to me. If I email her I've got a reply with an hour. She never stops smiling and her genuine care is evident. Diana is a great fit to the team always courteous and available. The entire team is a perfect ensemble for this property. I obviously highly recommend to anyone seeking a temporary or long term home. Once you are inside the door you are never a stranger. Nothing beats being home with those that you love, but if you are looking to rest your head and not worry, go...
