Wow. Where to start with this place... It is entirely too small and unkempt. The layout is horrible. It's very narrow and there are pieces of plywood randomly placed throughout. There are stair rails sticking out onto the course making it hard to putt. Half of the place was rundown and the other was under construction. (See pictures). There were no real barriers to keep anyone from touching or feeding the animals. A turtle enclosure next to the 5th hole could have easily been climbed into. There's nothing preventing little kids from trying to touch the turtle. The turtle kept circling it's "home" in search of food. It picked up rocks but spit them out once it realized it wasn't food. The second turtle enclosure was larger but the little dog house, I assume was meant to be where it slept, had exposed electrical cords hanging down in it. There's nothing stopping the turtle from biting them which is horrifying to imagine. Two of the alligators had injuries. One was missing a hand and the other had a chunk missing above it's right eye. There were far too many gators and not enough space or water for them. It's very unsafe. Various sections of the green were on rotted wood. My husband almost fell when he stepped on a part of the first hole (from the left, about 10 inches from the barrier) because it was sunk in or missing wood under the turf. At the 17th hole there was a gator in a small enclosure with several golf balls and trash including a plastic Coca-Cola bottle. It was very hard to enjoy the game at all because of the overall disheveled state of the course and animal enclosures. This place needs to be shut down and the animals need to be relocated to a facility dedicated to maintaining their health and safety. Do not waste your money on this establishment. Please do not give them any money to buy more animals that won't be properly cared for. The collective feeling between the 3 of us was what we felt when watching the 'Tiger King' docuseries- depressed. We all feel terrible for those animals. We've never been to a mini golf course, zoo, aquarium or theme park that has animals and felt like the animals were uncared for. Congo Falls mini golf takes care of their gators. SeaWorld and Busch Gardens take very good care of their animals as well. We've never felt like the animals at those places were uncared for, or in the hands of an untrained person. I highly doubt those girls at the front were certified to handle and care for wild animals let alone a degree in zoology. We never even saw any team members walking around to care for the animals or clean up trash, or remove face masks that were floating in the water. This place was a waste of money and just devastating. It's ruined our day. Please,...
Read moreOkay, after all the big theme park adventures, sometimes you need a dose of classic Orlando fun that doesn't require a second mortgage. Enter GatorGolf Adventure Park on International Drive! We just got back, and let me tell you, if your family loves mini-golf with a wild twist, and you're looking for something genuinely super affordable, this is your spot! We're talking great value here, folks. You get a solid 18 holes of mini-golf, surrounded by the most unexpected (and toothy!) spectators: live alligators! Yes, you read that right. While you're trying to sink that hole-in-one, there are actual gators chilling in the water hazards. It's way more exciting than just a windmill! The course itself is fun and well-maintained, with enough interesting holes to keep everyone engaged without being frustratingly difficult. My son and daughter were absolutely thrilled just spotting the gators around the course – it adds a whole new level of "don't miss your shot or you might end up in the lagoon!" (Just kidding, it's totally safe, but the thought adds to the thrill!).
But the absolute highlight, the moment that will be talked about for ages, was the baby alligator holding experience. Seriously, for a few extra bucks, your kids (and you, let's be real) get to gently hold a tiny, adorable, very much alive baby alligator. My son and daughter were beside themselves with excitement – pure, unadulterated joy. Seeing their faces light up as they carefully held those little scaly bundles of joy? Priceless. It's not every day you get that kind of hands-on, slightly wild encounter right in the middle of Orlando!
The staff here were super friendly and knowledgeable, making sure everyone felt safe and had a blast. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a busy theme park day, or just spend a chill afternoon making some unique memories. If you're looking for a budget-friendly, hilariously memorable, and genuinely fun family activity in Orlando, put GatorGolf Adventure Park on your list. You'll be grinning like a crocodile (the happy kind!) by the...
Read moreI am a 1st timer and arrived with my 71 year-old dad around 7:45 pm on a Tuesday.
Pros: The young man who signed us in was friendly and helpful. He smiled when I asked him if there were golf carts for my dad to use, and now I know why. You don't use carts in mini golf!!! The size was just right for those who can't walk long and there were places to sit. It was very empty and quiet and were able to play how we wanted with nobody around. The golf equipment was in good shape and the course was colorful and had some surprises. LOVED the alligators of all sizes, but was hoping the park had more of them in other places than just the beginning and end of the course.
Cons: We were told by the staff person that shows are mainly on weekends after 6 pm so we did not get to feed or hold reptiles, etc. There is also no food/drinks sold so eat b4 or after u go. The place had that dank algae fish tank smell in some places. The water tanks for the animals and could use a good cleaning. Challenging to get the balls into the holes since the ground seems to curve upwards near each hole, but that may be typical for a mini golf courses.
Overall, a great deal for all ages...
